So I wonder if the SMC “issue” has happened again!! I honestly can’t see what the hold up / issues can be at this late stage
Bit of both. I mean there will be an announcement, It may be 13:00 but things change so it may well change, but there will be one so my source is right … isn’t she? Sorry, just having some fun. My view is still that it will happen when it happens. Hope you’re well,
Steps. I'd forgetting all about them. Now it's all coming back to me, like a bad dream. 'NURSE, THE SCREENS.'
For me that would be a more joyous celebration than a takeover, “Ding dong the witch is dead” Funeral buffet food & booze. What’s not to like?
I think Ben was pointing out that he could say he is ‘ITK’ by giving an announcement time - and when it doesn’t happen he is still right when it does (just that the timescale was off)
Can't wait for some £5M service charge or something similar being stuck on as he's taking his pen out.
Hull Live headlining this morning about the new owners not yet meeting with Hull City Council. A story about nothing because a councillor 'who does not wish to be named' also says they have no obligation to speak to them. Call me old fashioned but the article by Angus Young comes across ( to me anyhow) as one aimed to stir a bit of 5hit up. I didn't know until i read the article that HCC also paid/funded an amateur RL club out of the KC share money to move to Francis Askew school. At the time it was said that Wally Simpson was the funding behind that and those involved even tried to rename it 'Wally Simpson Park'. For those who didn't know, Wally Simpson was a fish merchant and a big supporter of local RL and put a lot of money into the sport, or so I am led to believe.
Typical from the **** show of a local rag! Baz is better then them and I doubt he'll be around long term
To be fair, Angus Young is far better than them too. He's a reporter of council matters rather than a football one though, which is why he keeps bringing up this thing about the council having no contact even though it isn't really that important in terms of the takeover.
