He's just not playing at the high level he was during last season, whether it's injury related or not beats me, but his inability to take defenders on is becoming a real liability. On the left we have Gervinho, who takes players on for fun, and then we pass out right, and lose possession of the ball, due to Theo making a bad call, or not running at the defence. Time to play Oxo or Ryo instead, they're hungry for the starting role, maybe they'll play with more zest.

I'd like to see Oxo involved.
Although Walcott hasn't been scoring, I think he's been working hard and still creating chances.
Also Oxo needs to work on his defending, but going forward he does look better than Theo at the moment.

Would like to see Oxo coming on as a sub for Walcott.

It's not that he isn't scoring, it's that he's not really creating either that worries me. We've sorted out the left side, and central midfield seems sorted now too, but the right, especially without Sagna, has me concerned.

The reason you believe he isnt creating (and i believe actually he is, just alot of the final balls dont see the back of the net), is because alot of the times he is double marked. Watch the amount of times as soon as he gets the ball both winger and fullback are on him. He just needs to adapt to facing the double team a bit better, and he will soon be breaking behind often.

But he's been facing this for the past few seasons, and has dealt with it better before. I just think he's reached his ceiling, he won't get better now, and it's time for him to move over for one of the prospects. he peaked far too young.

He's so much better up front than on the wing. Just a shame RvP is in such good form (for him, not for you ;))

I have to agree with PISKIE ( even though its in danger of becoming a love-in) I'd 'rest' Walcott and let Oxo share duty with another new signing.

Oxo apparently needs to become more defensively aware before Wenger will play him in the Premiership. Expect him to play tomorrow though, be interesting to see how he does.

A right-hand-side of Jenkinson & Oxo would be highly inexperienced and a great weakness to exploit. Theo offers good defensive cover.

Gervinho looked good yesterday, I'd like to see Miyaichi given a go on the right, we've seen almost none of him this season so far and he looked very good on loan last year.

He's not playing as bad as you are making out, theo creates an awful lot during games and i think that does go unoticed. He is one of our key players this season and he has shown it in a fair few games.

Hmm i haven't really noticed. The guy who does the video clips of a players contribution to a match should do one of theo. I haven't seen one of him so far

Walcott is no winger - end of ! The sooner Wenger gets that through his bloody head the better for Walcott AND Arsenal football club.

I'd start with OXO all day of the week as a winger .. instead of Walcott. Play Walcott as an impact sub striker .. put the fear of God in some of these defenders for the last 20/25 mins of a game !

A lot of uneccesary stick for Walcott (suprise suprise). He has looked good last season and this season. The defensive side of his game has come on massively and he covers the RB really well (people don't notice this).

He has also started to run at his man a bit more this season i have noiced (think Gervinho has been a good influence maybe?) and he is lookign a more experienced player.

Overall i've been happy with Walcott and i'm glad he's in the side.

Oxocube has looked sharp from what we have seen and he should get a little more game time but lets not rush him into the team, let's work him into the team and epl football and i'm sure he'll be a quality player for us. He should get some sub appearances for Walcott.

Miyaichi is one i'd like to see playing - last season on loan he looked a good player, direct and pacey. He should be playing league/fa cup games without a doubt.

What is Oxo then? I've seen him look comfortable in CM but with his dribbling and crossing ability shouldn't he be a better fir somewhere else on the pitch?
