Going into day three without having lost a wicket! Outstanding! I like to thank the Australian bowlers for their kindness in not taking 3 wickets last night and also donating us a few extras. Very sporting.
It's the Pink Test and virtual seats are sold for charity. If there isn't a match the seats are harder to sell so it needs to keep going for the 5 days. Over $2,000,000 raised so far. https://www.pinktest.com.au
I heard there is a legal challenge to the validity of their visas. Several members of the squad have been accused of making false statements on their visa applications, they claimed to be cricketers.
Really Eric, you come in here and we're all polite to you, accept that we're getting a right tonking and you go and make fun of our supposed cricketers, how very dare you, that's our job to do the gallows humor.......... It's just not cricket.......
I do beg your pardon and wish to convey my humble apologise to you all if I have caused offence. Shame they managed to drop Usi twice from one ball, before he went on to make 137
You did get Crawley out off a no ball, I'm wagering he'll go on and make you pay by at least getting to double figures !
What a crazy incident. Stokes gets a ball from Green around off stump and lifts his bat to let it go. The ball passes by, inches from his pad, and through to the keeper. But there'd been a loud noise. The Aussies appeal and umpire Reiffel raises his finger, but what's he been given out for? On appeal by Stokes, the replay shows the ball clattering into off stump, but the bails staying on. Not out of course, but what on earth were the Aussies appealing for and how could Reiffel give it out?
135-4 at Tea, with the partnership between Stokes and Bairstow standing at 99. Only another 300 to get to match their record partnership against South Africa.
