That'd be a shame.. From what I understand it's only a few that are giving them any ****. The majority fully appreciated the updates. If I had the choice of no inside info or info posted in good faith that sometimes happens to be wrong... I'd go with the latter every time.
Does it really matter ? How about this for an explanation. The 'done deal' may have meant both parties had agreed on a sale then, six, eight, ten, what ever weeks ago. It doesn't mean the new owners take over the next morning. Then comes the, 'how are you going to pay' ? 'So much up front. weekly, monthly, annually, how....'? etc 'What about the money still to come in from previous transfers' ? That needs sorting and agreeing on. Who gets it ? Who pays the £1m owed to fans in loyalty points ? The Allams or the new owners ? Does that come off the asking price ? There are contracts to sort out, ownership of land, even motor vehicles, even down to lawn mowers, the deal with Hull FC and HCC, rental agreements, finding some where to live even, work permits................... I know people have been busting a gut to get this deal done 'before Christmas' and it hasn't happened. That doesn't mean there isn't a genuine will to get it over the line and of course the media are also elbowing each other out of the way to announce it first, as some on here are too. If it is announced tomorrow or the day after, does it really matter ? All that does matter is that it is announced and when the ink has dried I'm sure Acun and his team will not waste any time in doing so. UTT. Now go and buy Everton tickets.
