https://www.hampshirelive.news/spor...kewitz-transfer-southampton-exit-6435668?s=09 Fair play to him for really wanting to play but for all his potential it seems he has failed to cut the mustard in the swiss league too. Shows Ralph made the correct call not to start him based off his demands and contract situation.
I thought it was unusual to keep seeing him on the bench in the champions league. Wondered if that was just Europe and he played domestically. Seems not
Big shame that it didn’t go as expected. A strange case of a player who hasn’t played nowhere near enough senior football for his age. Will be interesting to see if he ends up going abroad somewhere to a potential “Sport Republic” acquisition/partner.
The difference being that we could see that Hesketh had ability. I have never been over impressed with Nlundulu, other than his willingness to chase the ball - sadly all too often as a result of his poor first touch.
Yeah, I agree.. But he has been around a long while.. And we keep persuing to get out the potential.., To basically see him never fulfill it. Wonder why he was recalled though.. Can't be because we need him to play.
Thought this was an interesting infographic on the makeup of our squad. Third-youngest in the PL behind Brentford and then Arsenal, who lead the way. please log in to view this image
And the three oldest won’t be here too much longer by the sounds of it (and the youngest as well tbf)
Big vote of confidence in him if Ralph and co are happy to extend his deal by 3.5 years. Looking forward to seeing him mature - hopefully against Swansea!
