QUOTE="Bolton's Boots, post: 15482609, member: 1000753"]I see the Nigerian FF may have shot themselves in the foot by deciding against guaranteeing Dennis starts - Odion Igahlo has apparently pulled out, leaving them short of forwards. Karma...[/QUOTE] Anyone care to guess the reason? The NFF must really be a bunch of plonkers...
Seemingly Ighalos club didn't receive notification before the last date and have refused to let him go.
Looking very likely Sarr will be ruled out of the tourni, if so what a complete waste of his time. What muppets! Mind you, he has managed to travel through 4 countries in a week which must have been fun for him!
Senegal have lost their keeper and captain due to positive covid tests. It seems that the organisers want the games to go ahead no matter what. Countries will be required to play a match if they have a minimum of 11 players who have tested negative, while in the absence of a goalkeeper, an outfield player from the team must replace the goalkeeper. Any country that does not have a minimum of 11 players available will be considered to have lost the match 0-2.
Masina starts for Morocco in the centre of a back three - with Louza on the left of a front three. Be interesting to see how each perform.
Bet that was controversial! Cameroon only won with 2 penalties. Maybe the favorites won't have it their own way.
Not much interest in the Morocco v Ghana match in Cameroon it would seem - I've seen bigger crowds at a Watford Juniors fixture.
