In fairness you kind of know how long Covid lasts or injuries take to heal.

my understanding is that the rules (appendix 17) require a team to have 13 players plus one goalkeeper available from their "Squad"

That means i nthe premier league you get 25 and you need those.

It seems LFC have no keepers? that would say kelleher, pitaluga and adrian (we know he is injured) are all unavailable.

for the twat who's on about shrewsbury in his absolute rage he has ignored the fact that alisson tested positive on or about the 29th December.

the covid guidelines state that if he can product negative antigen tests on day 6 and day 7 he could return to duty after the 6th and play v shewsbury. even if he didn't his 10 days would be up.

Ergo there is no case for LFC to request the shrewsbury game be postponed unless even more players test positive and theres less that 13 outfield players available.

basically as it stands we would understand that Alisson, Matip, VVD, Fabinho, jones, Firmino and possibly henderson and thaigo (if fit) would all be "over" covid and so all available to play v shewsbury, and klopp would be "fit" to sit in the dug out as well, unless sick of course

Lets see as i am fairly sure that the EFL will reject our request and force us to play whoever in goal so they can get their pound of flesh.

I really don't like the lack of transparancy from any club on exactly who is out and who is not when in fact we get to see other injuries all the time.

not shocked how he went about maskless v chelsea hugging chelsea coaching staff and having close contact chats pregame.

IMO we deserve a walkover as i don't really think we've taken the wave too seriously.

    Our team against Arsenal:

    Milner
    Milner Milner Milner Milner
    Milner Milner Milner
    Milner Milner Milner
    Manager: Milner

Is anyone actually annoyed with us requesting postponement except WUMs on Twitter?

    Wums on ja606?

It ain't like some clubs can claim a moral high ground either.

I'd rather play it but with no gk and no manager theres not much option.

Not sure if we dont have a couple keepers like that lad who played in ireland. He must be back home

Shame for Pep, would like to see him take charge of more games when given the chance.

What precautions? I’d imagine he’s prob jabbed in which case he’s done everything he can in line with guidelines. Unless you have footage of him in shops without a mask on?

Which doesn’t actually stop you catching it as has been mentioned numerous times.

Also, where have you seen him not wearing one? As I’m pretty sure it’s only shops etc that you are required to wear one?

It’s hilarious everyone losing their **** over us asking to postpone.

Despite numerous other games across the country in the prem and efl already being postponed, our games v Leeds at Leeds request being postponed.

I’d imagine numerous other games in fa chi at weekend probably being postponed, when it comes to us we should be forced to play any team we can field.

    Some of the reasoning is,

well we did it when we went and played in the club World Cup.
villa had to when we played them in fa cup
Leyton orient forfeited the game v spurs when couldn’t field a team

Kind of ignoring the point all of these were before they brought in covid rules and postponements <doh>

Apparently we don’t take the cup seriously cos we played the kids and it’s disrespectful to the comp and it’s history…. But when you try and play a first team and get game postponed it’s, no one cares about the history of it, you should play the kids.
