Kissa, I’ve been to a few aways with him and his constructive criticism always gets me chuckling. Quite a turn on actually…
Also I thought it was brilliant how we should never have got the free-kick which led to the winner Howson tried passing the ball to Nunez but the ref got in the way, Pugh luckily managed to get the ball back and then fell to floor (with no contact) but because the ref had got in the way earlier he felt the need to give us the free kick

That’s why I’m with you darling Badge, fine thank, it was great apart from the troubles later but that was a whole different thing. Great weekend turned abit sour
All you had to do YNBK assuming you were with the noisy lot right behind the goal was to look to your left. There I was suitably resplendant in a bright yellow shirt & wolly hat. Were you one of those suggesting us lot with the seats should sing you noisy lot a song? Cheek of it. We were too busy concentrating on the footie to worry about singing.. until O'Dea & Clayton chipped in with a couple of crackers. I see the stewards got a bit crotchety when one of you noisy lot tried to rush up to Becchio to shake his hand when he "scored". Anyway, a good 3pts, especially as we won in Fergie time & son of Fergie was so upset he almost cried his little eyes out. Aaaah bless his cotton socks. Anyway on to Wednesday. Same squad with possibly Sam starting instead of Varynun, unless of course Snoddy is fit. It certainly seemed to me that Nunez & Sam coming on gave us much more of a cutting edge. They seemed to want to try & go past players, rather than just pass it. Either way, up to 5th. MOT
Glad it went ok yesterday..and that you and your 5 new friends enjoyed the result on Saturday . 5 days and counting...Ole Badger is ready for one hell of a session .....
I wouldn't have said he was **** YNBK. His tricks didn't come off this time. But at least he was taking players on. The previous 80 mins, all the wide players had done was pass it, & sometimes not all that effectively. We needed to pose more of a threat & draw fouls. This we did, which is how we got the winner. Not sure at the moment Nunez & Sam are enough of the finished article to start too many games, but as impact subs they can make a difference, especially if Snoddy is injured. Anyone know what the game plan with Howson was on Saturday. Although he seemed fairly ineffective, I have a sneaking suspician he was working to a particular game plan, possibly involving sitting in midfield & allowing Clayton more of an attacking role.
Thats all he has done all season, hence the reason he hasnt scored, He looks ineffective but he actually gets through a lot of work even though it isnt his favoured role I still think he does okay, and like the fact we have 2 people who can play football in CM rather than one fatty n one brute (no names mentioned ) Nunez didnt manage to take on 1 player and he didnt come on has a wide player he came on as a attacking mid, to me since Gradel has left he hasnt stepped up to the plate like he should have done (he is too lightweight in my eyes)
For me Four year deal for nunez was crazy. Will never ever be good enough to comand a first team spot, never
We'll have to agree to disgree on that one LIW. He certainly did take on his defender YNBK, he just didn't go round him that often. But I agree with one point you make. Even at my lightest playing weight, I'd have fancied my chances in a tackle with Nunez. He really could do with bulking up a bit. It was interesting to hear Kevin Keegan years ago talking about how much muscle he put on & had to put on during his time playing for Hamburg. He wasn't that big, but he found he had to bulk up in the gym if he wasn't going to get sent flying by some hairy-ar&ed defender who was so much more powerful than him when he first arrived in Germany.
Boggers He's a little show pony for me, not pacey but might do well somewhere else. There isnt a position for him at leeds. Next you will be telling me Paynter a good player
