True and they will convince some half hearted ****bag players they will stay up by the end of january and get them and all. Not one will be still first team in 2 years. Trippier at 40mil is lunacy.
Best I've seen thus far form the wags is "wreak it ralf" From agent ole to wreak it ralf. The gift that keeps on giving.
Our mate Garth managed to get four players into his TotW that didn't actually score. Brave effort from him there. But then he says this: Now, I have to agree that both Salah and Mané seem to have been looking for each other more this season, but any suggestion that Mo's "selfishness" was a major instrument in undermining our season is a bit wild. Being **** for about 10 weeks was a rather more pertinent factor, imo.
FOOTBALL Chelsea’s debt to Roman Abramovich passes £1.5bn Martyn Ziegler, Chief Sports Reporter Tuesday January 04 2022, 3.30pm, The Times Champions League Chelsea Football Club Manchester United Football Club Premier League Football please log in to view this image Abramovich loaned Chelsea £19.9 million last season but the club still made a loss of £155.9 million BEN STANSALL/AFP VIA GETTY IMAGES Share Save Chelsea’s debt to Roman Abramovich has passed the £1.5 billion mark as the Russian-born businessman continues to pump money into the club. Annual accounts for Fordstam Ltd, Chelsea’s parent company, show that Abramovich loaned the club £19.9 million last season, to take the total related-party loans to £1.514 billion. In November, Abramovich, 55, watched his first Chelsea match at Stamford Bridge in three years, after withdrawing an application for a UK visa in 2018. As an Israeli citizen he does not need a visa to visit Britain and it was revealed last month that he was also awarded Portuguese citizenship in 2020. The Chelsea owner’s latest cash injection has helped the club overtake Manchester United and Liverpool in terms of their wage bills, despite recording a £155.9 million loss last season. Chelsea’s wage bill, following a busy transfer window in the summer of 2020, rose by 17.5 per cent to £333 million, partly because of incentive payments to players for the Champions League title win. In the Premier League, only Manchester City, who had a wage bill of £351 million in the 2019-20 season, have higher salary outgoings. ADVERTISEMENT Manchester United’s wages rose to £322.6 million last season, while Liverpool’s salaries totalled £326 million in 2019-20. Kieran Maguire, a football finance author, said Abramovich’s loans allow Chelsea to continue to spend heavily even if they make a loss. Last season’s loss was one of the biggest in Premier League history but still some way short of the £197 million loss posted by Manchester City in 2011. “He effectively covers the cash losses the club makes on an annual basis via loans to Fordstam,” Maguire said. Fordstam’s accounts state: “Funding is provided by the ultimate controlling party, Mr R Abramovich . . . The balance outstanding on all related-party loans at 30 June 2021 was £1,514.4 million.” The loans are due to be repaid to Camberley International Investments Ltd, which is believed to be controlled by Abramovich. However as the loans are from the owner himself and interest free, Chelsea can refer to themselves as effectively debt free, because if Abramovich sold the club he would have to repay himself from the proceeds. Chelsea should make a healthy profit on player sales for this season, with the Fordstam accounts revealing that three players were signed in the summer for an initial outlay of £109.7 million and 13 players were sold for £103.7 million. However the spending figure will be spread over several years by a process known as amortisation to show a player trading profit in the accounts. “For years now Chelsea have been very good at generating money from player sales,” Maguire added. Hahaha!!!! Good luck to Chelsea, but let's not pretend this is as bent as ****.

You lot seem to think other teams throw money at players yet you have a higher wage bill than us and still whinge you have a smaller squad You must be paying some wedge to the kids
Why Liverpool wage bill has rocketed £118m with Manchester United and Chelsea trailing - Liverpool Echo Liverpool pay bonuses for success. United haven't really had to do that for a long time.
In case you missed it the oil dopers are paying most non playing staff wages through their shell companies. Also in case you missed it your own wages are 4.6mil per week which is well over 1.5mil per week more than ours.
You saying 1.5mil adds up to more than 4.6mill over the course of a season then? Why you bringing other clubs into this?
City with a new luxury hotel sponsor… what ever the **** that is. Add another 100m a season to get past ffp then Oh and happens to be by the gov of which their owner is part of. Not too fishy
Twenty-three words... that's all you put there... but there are so many errors in it I don't know where to start! I'll just not bother #easylife
Well you are implying that United's wage bill was bigger than Liverpool's yet the post i quoted said the opposite. £1.5mil per week equates to £326million per season yet £4.6 mil per week equates to only £322.6 million if you read the article and use your figures
