That jag is just an amazing looking motor. Always seemed to be the bad guys car in 60’s films too. Wonder how much a decent one would set you back
Yes they were the ones and the car chase always ended up in the same disused scrap yard You would have thought the villains would have sussed that out in the end
That's it I always remember in my youth, I walked out my house one day and clocked this unmarked car outside, I thought oh shhite and went to walk back in the house. They knew (CID) I'd clocked them and had a laugh about it once they caught up with me, they admitted they stick out like a sore thumb, although they only had something like little fiestas, not the big fook off Granadas like the Sweeney.
The best one for me was the cops driving the unmarked Volvo sports car that the Saint drove One was following me in my MGB GT trying to catch me out speeding, what they obviously didn't think about was I could see their pointed police helmets in my rear view mirror
I can't ever remember the local cops driving anything decent, tinpot cars, until they had the landrover motorway patrols.
