They're talking out their jealous arses mate.. They haven't complained about Saudi until they took over a football club. I don't care they've lost
It's the intent that is half the positive. He's a big improvement but not the position we were crying out for, the message it sends out though - surely he's been given asurances regarding what we do next. I did notice this comment on SSNews too... 'Ramsey rejects Burnley - but could come back' Sky Italia transfer guru Gianluca di Marzio tells Sky Sports News: "One of the other Juventus players, Aaron Ramsey, may come back to the Premier League. He had an official proposal from Burnley, but he said no. "He wants to play for a more ambitious team, Newcastle have asked for him too before Christmas. We'll see whether anyone can sign him in January."
That’s what I meant @haslam As a right back, he’s not going to keep us up single handed, but he’s a big improvement on what we’ve got, and a big sign we mean business. Great signing imo, hope it’s just the start.
Honestly, fair play to them for trying. It's good to see them showing ambition. We moaned at Ashley for not being ambitious so we can't laugh at others when they show ambition!
True but wouldn't that type of signing cripple them if they go down? I do like that guy Cornet they bought in the summer. I'd rather buy him than Tarkowski
Why does it matter what they think? Our ambitions should be far bigger than just getting one over them. While they are our local rivals they aren't currently football rivals, though as the tables stand things were heading for that to be the case again next season. If we believe we're improving and looking at avoiding relegation and then moving upwards we should be focused on that and not showing such a small club mentality.
