Firmino has 17 goals and 13 assists in 45 games in the CL.

Ameobi has 3 goals 1 assist in 8 games.

Not sure can quiet compare the 2 lol

Anyway not a thread to compare players. Fair play if he scored a load against Sunderland, just amazed at how many prem games he had played given I rarely ever saw him score goals as a striker!

Shola always seemed to get goals at the right time, despite him not scoring that often.

He was committed and a local lad, played for over 10 years for us and went through the good times and the **** times with us. Hence if he appears in a pub in Newcastle he'll get a heroes welcome, whereas Michael Owen is more likely to get the **** kicked out of him.

He was a bit like Andy Carroll in a way. Shola was a cart horse and he wasn’t terribly good. But he gave 100% and as others have said he scored some pretty important goals.

Urgh, Marcelino? Was out for 3 months with a finger strain once. Bobby called him a lazy thieving gypsy.

Not the same really. Shola Stoke wa living from the club and continues to do so.
To me he's the epitome of how not to progress through laziness

Not as lazy as shola. He really couldn't be bothered. That shows now in his loan management as well. Or the well documented "break in" when he was just a messy ****tard and to lazy to tidy up

Same as Willock. Signing of the season on loan. Flop of the season on permanent. :emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl:

It’s weird isn’t it. I think Willock could still come good but so far this season has been poor.
