More on the Boxing Day match postponed

    https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/hull-city-fixture-list-january-6438130

"The game was called off just two hours before kick-off on December 26 much to the frustration to fans and players alike"

"City have repeatedly stated that they followed the EFL guidance on coronavirus testing and reported 14 positive cases within their camp to the authorities 48 hours before the game, alerting them to the potential issues.

At that point, matchday testing was mandatory and following further positive cases on the day of the game, City were left unable to fulfil the fixture.

Since then, the EFL have dropped the mandatory testing on matchdays which it’s hoped will avoid a City vs Rovers situation happening again.

“We were obviously really disappointed to not play the game on Boxing Day,” the City boss said after the club came in for strong criticism.

“We did speak to the EFL five days prior to the game to tell them that the situation was deteriorating - I think we ended up with something like 19 or 20 cases in the squad.

“So it was deteriorating and we did speak to them every single day right up until Christmas Day, and then even on Boxing morning, to tell them that we didn’t have the numbers to fulfil the game.

“It got to a stage where we couldn’t fill the bench. We couldn’t go into a game with no subs - it’s just ridiculous.” "

“I even - to tell you how much we wanted the game on - on Boxing Day - I phoned a young Under-18 player to get his mum and dad to drive him back down on Boxing Day.

“I spoke to them on Christmas Day, and made his Christmas Day, for the game to be called off on Boxing Day. That’s how bad it got for us in the end.”

Simply not being ruled by Ursula von der Leyen and taking back control of our own country and our future was worth the vote .

We can replace and vote out Johnson or any other British MP , EUROPEAN UNION dictators are chosen by each other .

5 years later and people are still worshipping Femi .<laugh>

2nd generation Nigerian immigrant that hates the country that gave his parents a home.

He's a raging arse bandit and would be executed or locked up for his bum activities alone back home , but can't shut up about how bad Britain is .

I like the irony of the caption on the photo: “Being a European Muslim has never been a walk in the park.”

It has always been a walk in the park, usually to meet some fifteen year old white girl that you have been grooming on social media. Of course you were probably not originally a European Muslim.

Does the Garuniad have a big Muslim readership? I am sure they can read it through their ‘letter box’, if they have been taught how to read by their owner.

Hardly. In order to be convicted of business fraud, one needs to be competent enough to run a business that would attract enough investors to get valued at $9bn. A crazed Leftie would have given everyone free shares in some harebrained idea that does not work (e.g. the Labour Party) and been prosecuted for getting her expenses wrong by $9.
