Yes - would rather the Leeds v Burnley game was a draw, that would keep them almost within touching distance. But at least they're keeping Burnley below us.

Think Leeds could be in trouble after a bottle was thrown from the home supporters and hit a Burnley player on the head.

I think Everton could be in bigger danger than Leeds, they are doing a Bournemouth but we need to get some points to catch/overtake them

Hi Fez, I don’t know if you missed it, but what did you think of the Davies challenge?

Just a word in praise of Wayne Rooney. With all the troubles at Derby, the big penalty of points deductions, I wouldn't have been surprised if he had thrown in the towel. He has stuck with it, and is now within touching distance of the teams above them.

I’ve never been a fan of his, but I agree wholeheartedly.

Yes I had just been thinking about that. Sorry I haven't replied sooner. I'll have to look at is again but it was a high speed tackle, the ball was, I think, cleanly won... But we've seen players sent off for this, endangering an opponent. that was my feeling at the time. Telling that it's not on the official highlights. I'll check my MotD recording and see if it's on there. TBH I'm absolutely incensed about the throw in that led to the free kick that they scored from.

Totally agree re throw in. It’s ‘little’ things like that, for which there is no excuse. It is a high-pressure job, I accept that, but the game needs to evolve and have professionals worthy of it. No longer are we prepared to accept Derek McGillycuddy, carpet salesman by day from Uttoxeter as our match referee.
