There are some on here i have thought of ignoring, some imo full of self importance, some just attack anything that moves and the downright horrid type. no doubt some may put me in one of those categories. But would it achieve anything, i think not. I would much prefer to keep on watching what is said. It can make a boring day a little bit brighter.
No. This place is decent, unlike other message boards I could mention. There will always be differences of opinion but the majority of posters can challenge/disagree without resorting to name calling.
Just checked, have one on ignore, cant remember him or doing it. Snideyness, very PC, or being a really crap wum usually do it for me.
No, it would have to be pretty bad to put someone on ignore, much rather play with them, and with a bit of luck they put me on ignore
I can remember you hoying Monty on ignore, but he's an okay guy, you know what you're going to get with him, it's good to hear an alternative opinion, funny as well.
Unless someone is having a go at you for the sake of it, hanging onto your every post on every thread and twisting things to have a go, then i don't see much point in putting someone on ignore. This forum is getting busier and has some excellent posters on it. If I see someone as a bit of a whinger or is normally controversial and looking for bites, I look at the Avatar, see who it is and 'skip read' that person's post. There's plenty of other posters whose posts I could spend hours reading, so why waste any time on reading the dross?
I haven't placed anyone on ignore - yet! I am quite happy to see people voice other, even controversial, opinions. If they are OTT then I just ignore their contributions over the rest of the thread, but nobody has come close to irritating me enough for me to consider putting them on ignore - they tend to get banned anyway.
Tend to stay away from controversy myself. You can have an opinion on anything and put it down in such a way it doesn't cause so much offence that people will get personal over it generally. At the end of the day I wouldn't speak to anyone on here any differently to if they were sat at the same table as me. I would expect the same of anyone else too, problem is some folk feel they can be a bit braver sat at home out of reach and take it too far. (Not that I have seen much of that on here though).
I don't believe I've placed people on ignore, always up for a discussion, it makes for a spirited debate. Unlike other boards, where you're always called unsavoury names, when you toe the line (is that the figure of speech?)
There’s a ****er with a Scottish girlfriend I considered putting on ignore, then I thought he’s probably living at his mams in her spare room Playing PlayStation games and ****ing himself to death every night.
I have nobody on ignore. Its sometimes difficult to pick certain things up with a text which is more or less essentially what some of these posts are. Its when you meet some of the f*ckers on here you wonder why you give them the time of day. Been on this site for a long long time and to be honest it is good to see the passion of posters arguing their case.
That can't be true, people who **** themselves to death, play on their games consoles and live with their parents don't have partners.
Don't do ignore, happy to see whatever fans want to put forward, not saying there's not an odd one I wouldn't choose to have a pint with. Its all about opinions, abuse shouldn't come into it. Fortunately we don't seem to attract utter bellends on here since Pablo went back to Newcastle.
Mainly the random mag accounts that pop up every now and again, most probably not still active but I can't be arsed with their lifting patter.
