Here's a trust who saved money by going to asda rather than the central store. NHS trust saves £40k buying bread and milk from Asda instead of traditional supplier | The Independent | The Independent
lucky for me i've not been beset by that so much. i'm more likely to encounter battalions of school children being dragged straight into shops by their mothers at places i thought i'd just nip into while passing after going to one of those shops that closes at 5:30 or soon after. on that topic, when did kids get to leave school at 3pm? it was 3:30 or 4:00 when i was at school. nobody consulted me about this change.
Ah, that might explain why that bloke in Beverly Tesco wears a skirt (FACT). No wonder he's been limping lately, our last order was a cheese grater, 3 whole pineapples, 1 kg fresh chillies, 6 bags of ice cubes and a new ironing board for the missus for Xmas.
Sorry, got my divvies confused, you're the 'personal research' one. Thanks for the DM with the details, I thought the highlight was: '... so I followed the bin lorry around all day until they finally admitted their council had banned black bin bags.'

This jumped out (at the end of the article). Significant if true ..... Back in the UK, Boris Johnson confirmed that ninety percent of Covid patients in intensive care units have not had the booster jab.
What about those who were late getting their 2 doses, how long do they have to wait to get a booster. The passport thing is saying you're not fully vaccinated until you have had the booster
Yup - that’s my problem. I’m double jabbed, not because I felt I needed it on health grounds but purely so I can travel abroad. Now the goal posts have been moved & my vacc status is back to zero! So I cannot travel. I have no intention of getting the 3rd or 4th as they might move the goal posts again
“ If you’re not yet eligible for a booster, but have had a previous infection and two vaccines, I wouldn't be too worried as your protection will be very high. https://covid.joinzoe.com/post/do-i-need-a-covid-vaccine-if-ive-had-covid
