A lot of us have been critical of the squad players, not good enough. More investment was needed in the Summer, Fenway were not willing to invest given the Covid situation or whatever. Problem is, you are up against huge finances available to City, Chelsea and Man United. We do not have the squad to push City

Thing is we have drawn away against the 2nd placed team in the league but nowadays it isn't "good enough". Kinda crazy.

But City are beatable, though, Arsenal proved that the other day, by giving them a game, but again City got all the decisions. It just pisses me right off the way officials do nothing when they dive and foul all over the place. It's not finances we're only fighting against, it's blind eye bastards like Stuart Attwell and soddin VAR. I'd like these people to face questions from the press post-match like the players and managers do, let them explain their actions

VAR needs transparency...mic the ****ers up, like in Rugby Union.
Get rid of this obvious and clear error bollocks run it like rugby ref can ask TMO to look at something and the TMO can suggest that the ref look at something.

It's disappointing and no it's not good enough to give away a 2 goal lead especially when we've done it more than once in a season

    My ratings:

Kelleher: 8 Only his relative weakness with the ball at his feet stops him being a first-choice Prem keeper in his own right.

Trent: 6 Superb through ball, mediocre defending, and wtf did he overhit that simple, simple pass to Ox at the end that would have seen us 4 onto 2?

Tsimikas: 6 First half, so-so, but defended better in the second. Some weak crosses and corners at the end.

Virgil: 5 I know he hasn't lost his pace but too much walking about today.

Konate: 7 The better CB tonight. Distribution mediocre.

Milner: 6 Not the disaster I feared. Even made a few interceptions.

Hendo: 7 Seemed the only Liverpool who didn't lose the ball every time he touched it in the first half, but snatched at a few through ball opportunities.

Fab: 6 Overwhelmed in the first half at times. Not his best game.

Mane 8 Lucky not to be sent off, but his best game for weeks, if not this season. Messed up a couple of breakaways though.

Jota: 4 Rank. One wicked volley in the second half, but otherwise got in the way or lost the ball.

Salah: 8 Took his goal well, but turned a few good situations into ****e with a poor touch or selfishness.

Subs: Ox 5. Doesn't add anything up front: loses the ball in midfield.

Keita 6: Just never got used to the pace, defensively. Not bad going forward.

Jones: 6 seemed the best sub to me, but that didn't say much.

Pep. 7 Organised us better in the second half.

Manchester-based referee Anthony Taylor: 5 Maybe should have sent Mane off- thereafter gave them every decision.

Thing is rugby union has far more ways of being offside and also dirty play( fouls) but manage to use TMO efficiently.Trust the dickheads in charge of football to balls it up.

Think we’ve watched a diff player when we’ve seen Kelleher because the guy is better with the ball at his feet than Alisson.

Are you basing this thought into todays game? If so can you point out when he was weak with the ball at his feet?

There are less heart in mouth moments with Kellegher when the ball is at his feet. He is a very good keeper, does the simple things well and does not get ruffled. There was little he could do about the goals today. That first Chelsea goal though, I mean, did he really think he was going to score that. It was a hit and hope, he probably could not do that again in this lifetime… and it rattled us and let them back in. Overall though, they were the better side and played through our midfield far too easily

Yup agreed. Even the moment when he did the little side step past the forward 35 yards out from goal. No panic at all.

I know Alisson is always put up there with Ederson with the whole on the ball thing but I honestly think he isn’t even close. He’s good with the ball, his passing when he gets it right is great. But his general kicking is pretty bad especially under pressure and even more so with his left foot.

Kelleher is head and shoulder above him with the ball at feet imho.

Saying that, alisson is the best shot stopper in world football with Oblak and wouldn't change him for anyone.

We need to learn to take corners and to at least have a threat from them.

Can't believe how unbelievably bad we are at corners.

Feel a bit deflated because we went 2-0 up but a point away to Chelsea is a decent result. Forget City, it’s over now…make sure we get top 4 and try to stay in the cups….although I fear for our game without Salah and Mane cover. Not proper cover anyway.

Draw was a fair result but both teams will feel disappointed.

Midfield v Midfield was a battle I thought we won but thought LFC's attack got the better of our defence. Mane in particular ripped us to shreds

Tuchel went 3 at the back when we were in the ropes - gave us back control of the game…I thought that was massively negative and a little crazy tbh - how’s it viewed your side?

Kelleher just is lacking game time imo.

Far too many touch then pass moments from him and played fabinho into trouble as he massed it.to his wrong side.

Give him 10 games and imo hes playing like a cm

Overall did well..you.can see how training with alisson his improving him as he held everything, really is like a baby al.

    Love it.

As for the rest. No more than a 6 for anyone as that's including mane and salah. They got out played today totally. Imo our fitness and form has dipped again..vvd and trent look like wrung out rags after 60mins.
