We haven't seen yet what this regime will be like at getting players in. They showed their inexperience when it came to appointing a manager. It's not particularly a dig at them as they are new to this, but they won't have a slick operation set up yet. They will be learning as they go, and will undoubtedly make a few mistakes along the way. At least the willingness is there now though!!
He didnt score once for Man U (in the league). Maybe you're thinking about his time at Chanchun Yatai, Shanghai Shenua or Al Shabab. No, I didnt make those names up. But he didn't score a league goal at Man U.
This is precisely my fear. I'm not saying they don't want to do well, but they've ****ed about with the manager, ****ed about with a DoF and so far we've publically bid for Trippier, which hasn't been accepted.
But still for 5 goals for them, and most of the Prem appearances were subs. Regular goals rest of the time, esp having a great first season for Watford when he had no Prem experience.

Unlike Gayle however, we wouldn't need to staple his body together before each match and hope he doesn't fall apart. Aubamayang seems hopeful and is away at Afcon anyway, and we definitely need a striker, not sure who our best option is.
I had a different view on emery I mean leaks are part of the game. Howe wasn't just announced out of nowhere. Is any manager? My stance at the time was that emery had given his word and then used a bullshit excuse when he changed his mind and of course the men were keen to start the stavely bashing. I'm still unconvinced we have, yet. So far it's Eddie Howe and his Bournemouth mates, no DoF, no board changes (specifically, we don't have a Chief Exec/MD) and no players.
Like I said in my post, it's not particularly Staveley bashing. They are learning as they go. Mistakes are natural and to be expected. I think we are all willing to give them that time to learn.
