Well well well... first time I checked the score 8 mins we were 1-0 needed to sort some other things out so came back at 22 mins and it went 1-1 .... checked Prem/ 1st/ second divs and came back at 29 just as screen changed to 1-2 made a cup of tea at 45mins and made a few notes etc before going off at 56 mins or there abouts to return at 80 mins 2-2 quickly swithed off an came back 2 mins ago .........WHOOOOOOOOOPeeeeee well done Weimann YOU DESERVE a hat tricK NP ought to reward you with a month off for that... give someone else a chance.. maybe not... I did forcast 3 goals though!!
Taylor Moore was similar .. made comment he needed to calm down or such like, never played again after now up north ... will same happen to TOWLER?
Only saw the last hour. Millwall only have themselves to blame, they sat back and were content to waste time. Massengo did well and livened it up when he came on. Although on another day he could have given a penalty away (tbf a hospital ball to him) - Afobe went nuts and got booked for complaining. Semenyo can't trap cement and decision making needs a vast improvement, however he can be a bloody handful. Vyner is another who frightens the life out of me, he's so awkward and cumbersome. Bu**er who cares, we've got another 3 points toward survival.
You seem for all to see genuinely upset that we have deservedly won. Weimann had played 2 games in midfield and had offered nothing at all, because he is not a midfielder, he is as a striker 1 goal off of his all time highest as a pro footballer already this season. As for Massengo 1 assist in 70 games is not a good return for a midfielder, but at least it’s start. Perhaps instead spewing out your pathetic lies and twisting everything I say, maybe you should reflect on the FACT that our 2 best performances so far this season have come from a team with only 3 players from the golden time of 2 years ago, it is actually good to see a team of 11 players who actually give a ****. Not perfect by any stretch Vyner does not do enough to prevent crosses and his passing is abysmal, OwDowda managed to hit the first defender with pretty much every cross and Semenyo should have done better with his 1st half chance and his 1st touch was generally poor, but to be fair all 11 + subs fought for everything and that is progress.
I thought Weimann was up front a few weeks ago when you felt he should be dropped...ohhh maybe it was me lying.. We were awful until the changes were made, perhaps again we watched a different game. Massengo gives us more than just assists....energy comes to mind, never stops running and his cross to Weimann changed the result IMO...cus up until then, as many on here commented, we were shocking. V QPR we were much better as a team and performance and deserved more from the game.....but I am happy with the 3 points today ..deserved or not....
Deserved or not FFS?, of course it was deserved, I know you are not happy that we won but we did and did so deservedly. Yes you were lying, he was in midfield or at best a false 9, he is a striker and comes alive in the 6 yard box (where 2 of his goals came from) something I highlighted as long ago as the Cardiff game.
Strangely you have been claiming we cannot win games with a low percentage of possession, we led the possession stats in both half’s. But hey we were comfortable in the first half right up to the point Semenyo hit a tame shot whilst in a good position. We were then undone by Vyner who never made a reasonable attempt to cut out the cross for their equaliser, which was further confounded by Towler losing his man and for the penalty Vyners pathetic misplaced pass was intercepted and Towler was rash in his challenge.
Not how I remember it..but heyho...So you would have him dropped instead of playing in his best position...yeah that makes sense. Well the fact that you know me well enough to think I'm not happy with the result....means, as with most of your comments...it's bollocks.. Up until our second goal, we were as good as the score line...nothing more.....The changes and the 2nd goal changed everything..
I would have been happy with him pushed back up front, my issue was playing him in midfield but I don’t think it would have made a jot of difference at the time, unless he is being played either up front or out wide at a push he is not good enough to play in midfield. It’s one thing to make negative comments straight after a defeat or even throwing away a lead late in the game but to start at the final whistle is pathetic.
