Dont forget the turkey, stuffing and cranberry sarnies and donar kebabs in the concourse. They like a name change too Constantinople to Istanbul. So Turkey Hull City Tigers it is. He will want the Turkey Tigers up with the big boys asap so signing all Turks might not be a good idea. Are you a Turkist by any chance? Give the guy a chance if/when he takes over.
On a par I'd say. Both competent'ish at defending. McLoughlin seems to have the better long pass in his locker. Greaves needs to improve his heading ability.
Having an owner really irks me. It’s all the posts about this manager and that player that the point is about. Acun Ilicali will be a different type of owner. I don’t car two hoots where he is from. I would prefer a club president but we will have what we have eh.
So, fan ownership with a President is the only way? We could be as financially well run as Barcelona? Or have the fans vote to, which they must do as they are the majority shareholders, sell their best players to Bayern Munich like the fans owned clubs in Germany do?
Do you choose to simply respond like a dick or are you a dick? Where have I said anything that Afun Ilicali hasn’t. I hate all the crap posted about having kebabs etc on the concourse, it’s a pathetic as wearing Fez’s was when the Allams took over.
Imagine if only the Not606 posters were the only fans represented. We would be National League within 3 years lol
Talking of recent previous gaffers I'd go. 1= best. 12. Molby 11. Parky 10. Phelan 9. Slutsky 8. Dowie 7. Pearson 6. Adkins 5. Taylor 4. Barmby 3. Silva 2. Brown 1. Bruce Come on, have pity, its a slow day
With the football geniuses and financial wizards on here we would rule supreme as the most successful, richest club in Europe sweeping all before us with our 3 5 2 formation.
Re a manager that knows the Championship. If we look at he Premier League, Guardiola, Tuchel, Klopp, Conte dont think they know the Championship, nor, did they know the Premiership (with the exception I think of Conte?); but of course I would take anyone of them. Bit of a lottey choosing a new manager especially for a club that has a limited budget. Overseas does not look a bad idea especially if you can find a gem. Seems a fair few coaches are coming from the Ragnick school (the pressing game) so maybe we should look at Germany. In any event for what its worth I did read a study about the difference a manager/.coach makes to the results of a a team if I remember right the figure that they came up with was 10%.
