I just hope James doesn’t come on for Roberts, if he comes on for Harrison fine. We need to watch the threat of Charlie Taylor putting in good crosses. I’d definitely take him back

Started nervously but grew into the game We should have this game in the bag if only we had a Prem Striker in front of goal. Roberts tries his best but it's just not good enough at this level.
The goal will bring some confidence back but this game is far from over at 1-0 even with the dominance in the latter of the half.
Get Taylor stopped from crossing should be the message at HT.
We have had plenty of chances Roberts should be on the scoresheet Klich why didn't he play in Roberts when he had a nobody around him.
I'm alot more confident now than before the game but we still need to be switched on espially in that weather one slip and someone is in.

thought we were terrible for 10 minutes and then pretty good for the rest of the half. Good energy and pressing forcing mistakes. Best ayling has played this season, firpo’s looked good.

Klich is so poor needs replacing.
Forshaw immense they really know he’s around.
Roberts should have scored, being a bit too selfish in front of goal.
Harrison …. Scored but that’s all.
Raphinha needs to be taken off if no improvement for James.

 

Look. There have been mistakes.

However, the energy, bravery, passing is alot better.

The four players who have failed miserably this season have been very good.

Roberts, although he missed a Bamfordesque chance, has run in behind to stretch the game but more importantly he has come short when we are in our own half and has held the ball up superbly well.

Klich has worked the channels cleverly allowing the overload. Good half. Best he has been for ages.

Firpo has been excellent. Maybe even our best player. Shaky start giving the ball away after 30 seconds but other than that has been immense.

Harrison has pressed, harried, intercepted, run in behind, whipped in a few dodgy ones but has been a handful and starved Lennon of his full back.

We've been great. Hopefully it's not another game of two halves that we have seen too often this season. The confidence seems to have come back a bit. We need to get these points in the bank.
