So some seem to think it'll be signed off and announced tonight, some think Tuesday, and others think Thursday/Friday.. guess we'll see.
I agree with most of what you say, though I think Rooney initially went there as the money was an attraction, but credit to him that when times got tough he stayed with it. I hear he has actually paid himself some expenses for the players to stay in hotels, etc and the likes before games, as there wasn't money available for that. Rosenior is doing the right thing for his development, I'm sure a manager in the making.
I agree to a point but it's not like rosenior was a high profile player. So that's the basis that he doesn't get a chance with a plum job. I don't think his skin colour comes into it. He's showed how tactically astute he is every time he goes on the TV and if he interviews well he will get a fair crack somewhere. When was the last time any ex player who was a lower prem/champ standard get a plum job?
I think it's hard not to think that skin colour comes into it somewhat, but do agree that the level he achieved plays a part too. There's very few black managers though, so hard not to draw a connection. But don't want to turn this into one of those discussions like with the female managers. I'll just say I'd love to have him here as an assistant.
Problem was KLP had to fill in at left wing back, so had little chance to attack Keough. Teams recently have been attacking us with width. That is what you do against a team set up to play 352. To further exasperate this, our wing backs are actually forwards. In the modern game, it is very rare for a team to be set up for 352 with two forward as wing backs, unless due to injury or an imbalance in standard. Because we don’t have any fit fullbacks (the number of injuries Elder has had recently suggests he is trying to play through, and it seems they don’t have faith in Fleming)or other centre backs who can switch, we are forced into it. Hence both Greaves and Barnard getting targeted (Anderson also had numerous chances coming in from the other flank). We have adapted incredible well, though it it is probably not sustainable over a long period.
7 pages of what day it'll be announced and that completes the 1500. As a KFA patron I have no idea what day it'll be. This is like a teenager lad having a girlfriend who teases them like crazy and the poor lad is like a lapdog to her. So much he said, she said, he did, she did in all of this. Considering this guy is a media genius I think this has been handled ****. It's my opinion and please don't swamp me with millions of reasons why it couldn't have been done better cause I'm past caring. Just get the ****er completed and let's move on.
Loan with the possibility to buy in summer would probably be the best bet…test then tie up would be my preferred option but it’s just my uneducated opinion….
Absolutely and totally agree with this… as soon as I saw that old twat it’s exactly what he should of done, speed of foot and thought will kill the old bugger ( not literally of course) he’d of been dragging KLP’s shirt as he went past, maybe a possible penalty as with greaves.. it’s all if, buts and maybes…. Why doesn’t he see that would be my question though…
I would have a new owner in place before we decide who manages, who we buy, who leaves etc. Time to enjoy the day.... adiós
You know I meant after the take over…. Didn’t you ?… just to reiterate… I’d like to see an English coach within the New set up…think it would help
I want terry gone ASAP but I think ht2 mentioned he thought 3-4 million would be spent in janurary. Now while that’s good, it isn’t an awful lot in today’s market, especially in the jan window. Neither terry and shota are proven championship managers, one might be safer as he knows the English game, one might give us that new manager roll to get us safe. Who knows what’s best, just terry isn’t the safe bet long term
