Why do we wait until they drew level before we showed any urgency? If they would play with urgency from the start this game would have been wrapped up by now. So frustating to watch this team because the talent is there.

Craig Brown's tactics pay off as Aberdeen go down to 10 men.

We huffed and puffed but got there in the end.

Why is it we've seen so little of McCourt at a time when we're playing two games a week? He comes on and drives us forward.

A much-needed victory and good to get three points but I was glad to hear the final whistle even though we appeared to be in complete control by the end. Lack of goal threat is very worrying and for me, this looked a tired, uninspiring, display. I just don't understand the seeming lack of drive throughout the team. Again, for me, someone needs to put a rocket up Ki's backside!

By the way he runs, I think there may well be something already there.
Strange display, I think I am more worried about Hooper's form than anyone else.
Hooper just cannot quite get there this season at all, he seems to run in the wrong lane.
Everyone else plays well for part of some of the game but there doesn't seem to be any consistency.
Maybe it will come soon. Big Dan has set up goals for Charlie two weeks in a row, maybe there is hope for Dan yet.

Hooper dosn't look interested , that one he left to go across an empty net was baffling , I thought we were poor and nervy Aberdeen are a very physical team now , their centre back no 5 had a good game

Bear in mind Hooper's just back from injury, harry. There were doubts over him playing at all today.

Poor performance. Midfield in particular. No dig, just looks flimsy. Ledley utterly wasted at LB. Wanyama can't pass for toffee and Ki is coasting. Forrest did less than **** all.

I know others might disagree but for me, it's really obvious we miss Scott Brown.

**** sake Admiral, we weren't THAT bad. If we'd taken a couple of the other chances we made in the first half and early in the second we would probably have gone on to record a comfortable win.

I'll be glad when the midweek/weekend games are over though. They're killing us. Hibs on Wednesday. Give some of the young uns and fringe players a chance.

I agree with you about Scott Brown. I know a lot of fans don't rate him but he drives the midfield and provides cover for the back four.

Loovens away for scan as well as Bangura who has done his knee In training , looking at this season admittingly we've been poor but look back to Easter Roaf first game of season (where we won comfortably ) half that team is out with long term injuries. Midweek games are now catching up on our depleted squad , agree stereo a couple of under 19's Paul George & anr should start at Easter Road.Young Jamie Forrest can't play 2 games a week or he is going to totally burn out

What other chances? I don't recall their keeper making a save until after they'd equalised. The reaction to the equaliser was the team's saving grace, until then we'd been poor and Aberdeen fully deserved to be level at that stage.

I stand by everything I said. Ledley is wasted at LB - he's been our best midfielder this season. Shift Matthews to LB and get Mark Wilson in at RB (who is better than Matthews at RB anyway - particularly defensively). Ki has been coasting for weeks and Kayal plays in fits and bursts. Forrest did nothing yesterday, I don't recall ANY contribution good or bad, Paddy did more in two minutes after he came. Wanyama had a good game on Wednesday but wasn't at it yesterday, his passing is poor for a midfielder and his defensive side was lacking when he let the Aberdeen player waltz past him without so much as a challenge for their goal.

I'm not writing off all these players but there's something wrong. I don't know if it's just a lack of confidence but the standard of performance is not good enough.

Matthews had a good shot admittingly straight at the goalie , he is a good player but to small to be a full back. The whole balance of the team is wrong, agree Mccourt needs a run in the team, League cup at Easter Road I would expeirment , get Ledley back in his real postion with Kayal with ki and Forrest rested( who are disappearing out of games at the moment ).Hopefully Commons and Samaras are fit we need them
