Lloris had a clear touch I thought, so no pen. The Davies one for me is a red, foot high, over ball studs showing, reckless to the other player’s safety. Fatty Moss’s concentration was clearly on the buffet.
First half, Watford were completely overrun. They came out second half; Joao Pedro came on and made a big difference. They showed belief and thoroughly deserved to get something from this game and but for two contentious refereeing decisions, they would have. Terry Butcher
So close to a clean sheet n a point. We need signings. Ekong, Louza & Masina all off to AFCON now. N & N games after the FA Cup are crucial now.
That was frustrating. Ok the 1st half we kind of rode our luck albeit Spurs didn't really create that much but after the break was more positive. Good penalty shout then let it slip with a silly foul from Kucka who actually did well generally. Another battling performance against a top side. Hope the fan in the LGT is ok.
Admittedly he kept them quiet down that side - but he looked out on his feet for the last 20 minutes or so. I don't know why CR didn't sub him off then - a strange decision for me.
Yes - could have done subs earlier maybe. Sema too looked a bit tired. Oh well - let's hope we can defend like that in the next few games added with some good attacking.
I was there as always Rode our luck in the first half Much better in the second half, definitely a Red Card and a penalty, other way round and we would have been down to 10 men and faced a penalty Kukca was brilliant for 80 minutes, should have been subbed off when the game was stopped Yet again a medical incident in the crowd cost us same as against Chelsea, our players are worried about the fan and the opposition take advantage
There was a third incident where we were clearly robbed Pedro was put through on goal, fouled outside the area and inside the area kept his feet and with only the keeper to beat the "referee" blew up and awarded a free kick outside the area Is there a dictate we are not aware of where we are denied equality in refereeing decisions
Yes that was a odd call . Spurs could have had a penalty first half - probably why we didn’t get one .
The ref, ‘Jones’ was it?, was clearly out of his depth. He also admonished Kucka for taking a free-kick which hit an encroaching Spurs player (Kane?).
I remember he got caught up in an issue last season after blowing up too early. Too keen on that whistle .
