    Buggered if I know.

CHO , Werner, Havertz, Ziyech, Jorghinho, RLC, Kovacic, Pulisic, Christensen, Azpulicata, Alonso, all supposed to be top level players, some allegedly....... "world class".
    Not in my book.

None of them score enough, none of them change games when played.

Kante, James, Mount, Mendy Rudiger and Lukaku. are close to "World Class". As is Trevoh Chalobah
Miles better than older, more experienced defenders.A true star.

The rest are all a level well below "world class", all at a level below even great PL class,

We need quality, Youth , speed and ambition to improve.

We don't need Audi searching for players for the "january solution", though this year it is allowed.

Kante is the only world class player we have. The rest are somewhere between 6/10 and 8/10 players. That injury to Reece James is a massive concern though, we messed up in the summer and look to be paying the price.

World class mmm. Kante, Silva, yes also Mendy and at a push Lukaku and Jorginho. When we talk world class we should consider where they have been and what they have achieved, and the aforementioned players are up there with the finest. Look at the International status that these players have, any team in the world would be graced by them. What is needed is the water carriers that fill in the gaps when these players are not functioning right or having a bad day as you might say. I just think our water carriers are not of the same standard as Man City's or Liverpool. It shows when we play teams that park the bus and work really hard, then hit us on the break and we end up loosing points against teams we should be beating. Yeah yeah I know scoring goals is the only way to win games but we spend so much time dilly dallying with the ball that the likes of Lukaku never get enough quality ball to make real use of thier talents, I rekon if you looked at the chances created and the conversion rate Lukaku would be up there with the best, however Werner would be bottom of the pile. Which brings me to this. Why do we create so many chances for Werner but not for Lukaku. Could it be Werner is the water boy Lukaku needs. Discuss.

Simple answer to that would be Werner's movement is so much better and more varied than Lukaku's.

Not sure it is a simple answer and Werner probably has better movement off the ball, then again defenders will also pay more attention to the central striker as opposed to Werner who is usually found out wide.

Werner played some great games for us when wide, taking players away , getting in behind, he's a million miles in front of "Sick note 2" Pulisic, who has one good game then 10 mainly getting up off his arse, or losing the ball every time he tries a 1 on 1. As a PL striker though, Werner can't cut it.
I also agree that too often , we are not direct enough, EVERYTHING goes down the sidelines, and the "Bus parkers" just pack the area .
Tuchel has been a master at getting us to play top 4 football, but he will be in a significant rebuilding phase if, as expected, Rudi, Silva, Dave and Christensen, or even 2 of them ,leave. Then there's what to do with Werner, Pulisic, RLC, Ziyech, Barkley, to a lesser degree CHO and Havertz. We look overstocked on under performers and short on real class. Still, after only one year, Tuchel has proven to be maybe the best manager we have had.
