My mate is a Derby fan, said he’s a confidence player but is class when on form. If Johnson can get anywhere near the same as he has with Pritchard it could be a superb signing at our level.
aye. That was in a losing team as well. Getting him into a winning side with roaring big crowds behind him and he may return to his Celtic style
Looks like an astute signing but he’ll need time to get fit & blend in. still want to see us sign 2 fullbacks, a big DM and striker.
In on loan according to The Northern Echo https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/s...I7khtu4V5QdmqhFz9-ujKJ9U-vfsdgmQSdSDdBiWp_3cA
Always looked canny to me this lad. Mind, I'm quite happy if the one or two we sign are players I've never heard of. I hadn't heard of most of those who have come in that time and they have almost all been way better than expected. So, whoever has been doing the looking can carry on looking for me. They've a better eye than I have!
Leftie as well we are all right sided. Not only is he far too good for league one, he’d bring us a natural balance. This would be an outstanding signing make no mistake.
Love how we are targeting players that can already play at a higher level. It’s almost like we’ve got a long term plan
If we get this lad fit, integrated and motivated he will be a quality addition more than capable of stepping up to Championship and potentially Premier League.
I've thought about this and its the exact kind of signing I want to see us make. Its moneyball - He had huge potential but it hasn't quite worked, if the management team can help him find what Pritchard has then we're getting a very good player that can and will get better. He should be very exciting to watch.
Nice to see us ready for the market opening for a change , the recruitment team seem well briefed as our squad is quite strong other than a number of long term injuries . The squad also has a number of versatile players who have played their part in keeping us well up the league and will be determined to keep their places in the team so whoever is brought in will have a fight on their hands . The summer transfer window was so different to what we are used to and in general most people were very happy with the recruitment team and hopefully this can be equalled or bettered in the January window - Here’s hoping !!!
