Just seen the two penalty shouts (i only watched the last 30mins) and I think both should have been penalties.
So if I am reading this right If we lose tomorrow and then us and spurs keep winning until Feb When we play spurs - they can go above us Not hard to be pessimistic Come on lads need a win tomorrow What do I need to do - to make it happen
I didn't see any games today, but have to say looking at MotD gives me some hope for the season. City needed some massive luck and inconsistent refereeing to win that game, surely it can't happen forever? Can it?
They only need it to happen a few more times. Nobody is catching them as january sees them resting up.
I fail to see why players are allowed drop then get a full assessment on the park delaying the game. Canos and jannson for brentford have both had the same now. Ok you've a muscle pull or whatever but get the **** off and if you drop an second time you should be given an auto 2.match ban.
I understand treating them where they are because "they might actually be injured", it's the allowing them to return to the field innately afterwards that needs to change.
Unless it's a broken bone or head injury there is zero need to treat anyone on the pitch really. If you sit down the game should continue unless the ball goes too close to you in which case the opponent should get a free. You'd be amazing how many players would jump up then Theres an unwritten rule now in football that dropping gets the game stopped. Again in rugby the game continues unless ball goes close, seems to me theres a lot of things in rugby football could benefit around officials, citations and timewasting etc..
Chelsea's defender situation in the summer could be interesting. Looks like Rudiger will be off to R Madrid, Christensen to Barca. Silva is 37, Azpa 32 and a fullback. After they've just announced huge losses. If they're allowed to spend big to replace and avoid ffp....
Rudiger is a massive loss to them. Lampard lost his job imo cos he would not play the guy for some inexplicable reason. Azpi is utter madness to be letting go. Silva was struggling there after 60mins but we had nothing to run him. Christensen is ****e. Cant believe anyone serious rates him. Has an error in him every game.
Really rate Rudiger, top defending. Him and VVD would be phenomenal. Chelsea will just go and spend £200m on three defenders
Point was, how can they be allowed to do that and still claim to be in ffp rules. If they do, after announcing the losses and Man City getting away with it, FFP is done, Over.
