Seems obvious that VAR is just to benefit TV coverage as the drama created is off the charts. Daft thing is the referee at the Emirates had a decent game today but a bloke in room miles away decided he knew better and completely altered the course of the game.
I'm not sure how he didn't give that pen for us tbh, because in real time it looked every bit a pen. And then on the replay it was confirmed that Ederson took Odergaard out. But yeah, **** house ref in the **** booth made sure it was properly ****ed up
Watford were ****in gash that first half, just kept giving the ball back to the Spuds. **** up @duggie2000 ? What's wrong with your boys, hungover from last night ?
Both were pens, or both weren't pens. Different officials will have different opinions and there will never be total agreement as it's impossible. That's why it's best left to the onfield official, they have the best feel for what's happened and if necessary I'd be happy for them to look at a reply but without any 3rd part VAR input. Far too many cheap/soft pens being awarded now and they are all a result of VAR.
Yep I’m in agreement that it should be left to the on field ref. VAR just adds another layer of subjectivity, none of it is objective.
Probably out celebrating Duggie’s OAP of the year award. They look ok second half but not really watching it. They were atrocious against Wham.
Wondered why we haven't seen @duggie2000 on here yet today. Probs still balls deep in a hooker somewhere at the after party Yeah Watford look a bit better 2nd half. Which ain't hard to achieve tbh, they were fukin **** 1st half.
Easy… easy. Never in doubt. Big ****ing Dave, second best thing to come out of Colombia since cocai….
It's only day 1 muthafuka, so lap it up for now. VAR will **** you up and we'll get a lucky late winner soon enough And I will be here to laugh at you.
