    Happy new year to everyone

Well the transfer window is open and already deals are happening and many many more in the pipeline, especially in Europe. Many deals are going to be long loans with a buy clause for 2, 3 or even 4 years to fiddle the FFFP rules. Some deals already happened before the window opened like Torres City to Barcelona or the Ukraine player to Everton for £20m. Looks like Trippier to Newcastle is done and because they have had games cancelled, they will be fielding a much stronger team when those matches are to be played, is that fair?

Loads of Leeds rumours but pointless listing them as they are the usual suspects, lazy journalism and the odd one out of left field like Giovani Simeone. Romantic, but probably a stretch. Papers again today talking about the Huddersfield kid blah blah blah.

Anyway I am feeling much more confident now about playing the next few games. Some players coming back and I have a feeling Paddy will be on the bench too. We should have a solid back 4 with players in their own positions, only to see where Koch fits in, CB or DM

A better 2022 than last year needed. Have a good one all

Waiting to go in mate and get it over with?

Interesting transfer news if true revolves around the 23s who started the season on fire but due to first team injuries the season has collapsed into a relegation fight. Yetif true the 23s are about to lose Sam Greenwood to either Swansea or Forest, which should be good for him playing regular in the CHAMPIONSHIP. We shall see how he performs but hes actually ahead of Joffy on goals this season because Joffy hasnt played much. But if we were in trouble in the 23s why allow him to leave? Well my suspicion is that Matteo Joseph Fernandez is coming in to lead the 23s line as Joffy and Greenwood move away on loan and to our first team (Joffy) Max Dean will also get more of a chance too. So I suspect 23 incomings if Greenwood going out on loan

Breakfast debate on Tuesday 28th the Nottingham Independent reported contact had already been made with Leeds to take Greenwood on loan, they want it done swiftly. I feel a good move for him and us.

Todd Cantwell is going to be available quite cheaply I’d imagine this window, maybe the wrong attitude for Bielsa but might be worth a gamble depending on price.

Looks like Ryan Edmondson is coming back from Fleetwood as he has only taken part in 11 games and has failed badly again. 2 years out on loan with no successes, wonder if he will play for the 23s or be sent out yet again to his 4th EFL loan. 20yo and still has 18 month on his contract? Never played higher than League 1

Daily Record saying Crysencio Summerville going on loan to Rangers? I know they tried in the Summer but another key U23 player who does the Ayling Raphinha role with Cody Drameh down the right. Scores goals, and creates a lot of goals. For me a bad move as he is deffo just behind Harrison and would be a big gamble to rely on 3 wingers to take us through the rest of the season in the first team……. Unless Costa recalled?

We can't afford for our U23's to be large fishes in a small pond. They need first team football, especially as they are at that make or break stage in their careers. There are plenty of 20 / 21yo's in the top flight playing first team football, and its time these youngsters were put to the test.

As long as we have enough firepower to stay in Premier League 1, then we cannot stand in the way of development. Let's just hope they get the game time!!!

There is a chance of relegation so we need to know if the likes of Greenwood and Summerville are good enough to get us straight back up. No relegation and we need to know if they’re going to be good enough for first team football or not. Winning an u23 league means absolutely nothing so for me the more we can loan out the better

What a deluded twat Keown is, talks total bollocks, Arsenal player has both arms around City player and throws him down on box, says not enough in it for penalty ffs then says it again when they cause the actual penalty.
Now saying the Arsenal team maybe better off without Arteta being there.

Bin dipper Steve McManaman is contradicting what Keown says and making him look and sound what he is, a tosspot.

Cody Drameh story that he is on his way to Forest on loan. Sounds stupid to me as hes the 2nd best RB at the club and Ayling being 30yo and not guaranteed to stay fit for the rest of the season?

If the stories are true you have to say that the 4 top kids signings we made Summer before last have paid off. Gelhardt is obviously part of the first team picture now. Cody Drameh wanted by Forest, Summerville wanted by Rangers Greenwood wanted by Forest and Swansea. You notice that these kid if allowed will go to Championship clubs not EFL bottom feeders and all 3 could join Joffy as part of the first team next season or be sold for vast profits. Seems good business
