My lad owned 2 flats in tynemouth I absolutely love the place, I was never that impressed with the shack a bit too pricey for me but there are some cracking chipies around. The Sunday market at tynemouth metro is one mot to miss. The ere is usually a busker adding music to the wonderful atmosphere. Some really talented artists selling their wears and one off buys. I bought a cracking peaky blinders cap there, will probably be buried in it lol. The fresh bread stall and local sausage stall are two more not to miss, I can highly recommend the pork and black pudding sausage brilliant on a full English…..
Is the pork and black pudding sausage from 'geordie banger'? They're ace. Tend to get to tynemouth market a couple of times a year. I used to go regularly but I'm South of the river now. Rileys, for the standard of food is a fantastic price. If you're looking for fish and chips, then get to whitburn between South shields and sunderland.
I think that’s them, their stall is next to the lines, one side of the walk bridge. You used to get half a dozen eggs with the sausage but alas what with the economy it’s just the sausages… the eggs were wonderful

Keep saying the next time up there will get to Colmans in South Shields. But my wife doesn't place as much importance on these things. Having said that, the best fish and chips I have had were in Devon at the Maltsters Arms in Tuckenhay.
