the clubs are probably beginning to worry about this years accounts as the broadcast monies will already be reduced to to the postponements plus the worry that the Govt will introduce capacity limits until this covid wave has passed . .

We only have 2 and 1 is away but I am sure you are right. Government has stretched this party as long as it can.

The darts for example is a covid soup and must be a total super spreader

doesn't matter whose games are postponed the loss is distributed equally in terms of TV money .

Stolen; it was obviously posted during the Man City game....

    Pep “WE NEED 5 SUBS!”
    - 80 mins, hasn’t made one yet!

Tuchel “ONE MORE CASE IN MIDFIELD AND WE ARE SCREWED!”
    - Kante, Barkley, Havertz and Saul on the bench!

    Klopp “XMAS SCHEDULE NEEDS CHANGING!”
    - Beaten by a team who played 48 hours before, when they had no fixture!

I know Newcastle have rich owners but why would anyone want to go there in the January transfer window when they’re crap and are going to get relegated?

For me this is just totally frustrating
We finally get an amazing manager
Who built a squad - who won the league and we couldn’t even celebrate the win properly

We then have the back drop of COViD and Klopp coming to an end (he is certainly closer to leaving now) and this squad deserved more

also up against a monstrous squad in City, who to beat them you almost have to have a perfect season due to the massive depth in their ranks

very soon we are going to be back floundering for a manager capable of near perfection

hard to take - but that’s why we love football
    Happy New Year everyone :)

You know my attitude. Enjoy it while it lasts. Maybe a league cup trophy or whatever.

Theres always another manager and another set of players.

Fcking hell it's cheery in here <laugh>

Got a feeling Arsenal will get a result today. In great form and fresher than City who will put in a laboured performance imo.

Anyways Happy New Year all, hope it's a healthy and happy one for all <ok>

    Money.

The reality is if you see some pile in massively with a huge fee then the whole relegation thing recedes.

Say they buy a 50mil player or a 70mil player... suddenly all these lads looking for a pay day are scrambling for their agent to get on the blower.

If newcastle do not buy big and buy quick they are a bunch or no mark spoofers like gold and Sullivan at west sham.

If I were "running" newcastle I'd be giving Howe (how the **** did he get the job more like) a full on glut of attacking players starting with a proper no 9

Arsenal played well that first half, but can they keep it up. City are not as good when Jesus plays.

Going to be long 2nd half for Arsenal

    I fcking hope so <laugh>

Have to say though City look as I expected today. Pep may give them a rocket up their arse but I'm not sure they can dent the gooners the way they're playing atm.
