John Terry denies making racist remarks to QPR's Anton Ferdinand John Terry has categorically denied making racist remarks to Anton Ferdinand during Chelsea's west London derby defeat at QPR. Videos have circulated on the internet after Sunday's Premier League match at Loftus Road, with some claiming the footage shows the Chelsea and England captain Terry insulting the Rangers defender Ferdinand using racist language. But Terry, whose Chelsea side were beaten 1-0 in the game, said in a statement: "I've seen that there's a lot of comments on the internet with regards to some video footage of me in today's game. "I'm disappointed that people have leapt to the wrong conclusions about the context of what I was seen to be saying to Anton Ferdinand. "I thought Anton was accusing me of using a racist slur against him. I responded aggressively, saying that I never used that term. I would never say such a thing and I'm saddened that people would think so. "I have known Anton for a long time and spoke to him about it after the game and there was no problem between us. "I congratulated him on their win. He has not accused me of any wrongful remark. It was clear it was all a misunderstanding at the time. "After the result today I am saddened to be dealing with these wrongful allegations. I am the proud captain of one of the most internationally diverse teams in the Premier League and I absolutely believe that there is no place for racism in sport and indeed in any walk of life." QPR declined to comment when contacted by Press Association Sport Comment - It wouldn't be the first time. Apparently.
He said blind, not black, in my opinion. Ashley Cole was walking right by him, so you'd have thought that he'd have reacted otherwise.
This is the same John Terry who laughed at 9/11, or the same John Terry who has the morales of an ally cat. Personally it wouldn't suprise me if he said something in the heat of the moment
JT is not going to win Time man of the year award anytime soon and you really shouldn't expect him to. He is a footballer. Get over yourself.
Oh, and he didn't laugh at 9/11 you cock. He got pissed with his mates. But hey, don't let the truth get in the way of your ******edness.
All good in the hood I just ate too many lemon sherbets, and I think I have a sugar rush. Out of the Ulster championships today, so the GAA is finito for the year
I'm no expert but it looked to me like he said "blind ****". So, no racist remark and obviously shouting C U N T ! at someone isn't offensive either, so nothing to see here...
I am too lazy/drunk to check. Who won Munster Rebs? My Uncle saying that Loughgiel looked a class act today.
Loughgeil have gone back to back now There was a draw in KK. Nowt happened in Munster. My club is only intermediate in Derry and playing Junior in Ulster. Playing against a good side too good at the grade and did not so bad at all. The final is going to be 2 teams far too good for Junior Hurling. Creggan Kickhams and Burt.
Let me tell you my friend, I do not like JT. He is an ignorant ****. I know this for sure. As a Chelsea fan I sometimes find myself having to explain this but I don't mind. He is a cracking defender and a good Captain of footballers. I would not want to go out for dinner with him because, to be honest, amoung other things I'm not that keen on KFC. I do not know if he racially abused that beak faced tosser or not. I do know that the 9/11 story was twisted in the way only our honest and trustworthy press could. They were pissed. They were acting liked pissed idiots, as I'm sure we all have at such a young age. There was no report of them laughing about 9/11. Laughing amoungst each other about some other **** is not the same. Don't let your hatred allow the press to make you a mug.
Why does Terry feel the need to defend himself here? If he'd done nowt w rong then surely Anton would have made a statement too. Maybe the next time the England squad meet up Rio will twat the daft twat Terry for dissin his kid brother?
He said blind ****. Even Terry is not stupid enough to shout out 'black ****' in the middle of a football pitch.
