Big chest pump today. Still not hitting 120 on the flat bench like I could before lockdown but will get there before the year is out.

18 holes of golf will do for me today.

Back held up, so that's a plus.

15 miles off road through the slop on the bike the last two days.

Badly needed to given I've consumed enough Calories to feed a small town over the last 3 days.

i like the way the mud is so thick the bike stands on its own <laugh>

The only thing thicker is he person who decides it is fun to cycle in such conditions :emoticon-0112-wonde

It probably charges piskie another 3 grand to take him uphill. I'd get off it too.

Did a ride down from a cable car ride up in the Alps and hit a patch of mud like that straight over handle bars and splat, came off 3 times in all that ride, once hitting some slate, slid into an electric fence and rolled over it into a field full of bulls/cows with great big horns, they all seemed to turn and had a look of 'daft ****' on their faces.

Mate of mine got his bike stuck on an electric fence once, funny as **** watching him trying to get it off. Everytime he touched it he got shocked and it just ended up getting more and more tangled in it.

I would have helped him, but I was too busy laughing.

I can confirm that as a spectator sport, watching somebody trying to get their bike untangled from an electric fence is ****in entertaining <laugh>

My mate took his shoes off in the end and tried to use them as gloves to lift his bike off the wire, but every time he got the bike close to him it would shock him when it touched his body, so he ended up dropping it again, which made it even more entangled in the wires.

For me, seeing him struggle, nearly free it and then end up in an even worse predicament had me rolling around with laughter.

    Yeah proper belly laugh moments.

I honestly would have helped my mate, but I was completely incapacitated with laughter. That was making him even more annoyed with the situation, which in turn was making me laugh even more.

Remember something similar when a mate was having a go on one of those massive stunt kite things, Flexifoil I think they are called. They are really powerful in strong winds.

He was showing off and doing all these tricks when this thing picked him up off his feet and then dragged him through a bramble bush. I honestly nearly ****ing wet myself watching him trying to pick his way out of that. He was really pissed off too coz his kite stings were all tangled up in it as well <laugh>
