Seems to be mixed messages on this Some say he didn’t want to go to but Ranieri suggests he did? But happy to help the club .
Newcastle game v Southampton postponed so our game against them will be their first one back. I think that's a good thing for us
Rumours about Ranieri’s future have surfaced From a DM reporter who has good connections to the club and been right on this sort of story before . Apparently the players are unhappy again. The games in January are key and we don’t want more upheaval Pozzos find it easier to sack managers than buy defenders which is what we should be spending money on .
Hope it’s not the dreaded vote of confidence! https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/19818832.watford-board-very-happy-claudio-ranieri/
Watford have agreed to let Ismaila Sarr travel to meet up with Senegal today to undergo medical checks on his knee injury. Sources say the player is merely going for the examinations as part of "protocol" and that he "obviously can't play". The news follows a dispute between the Hornets and the winger's national team, which has rumbled on throughout the last few days, after the player was selected to play at the African Cup of Nations. Sarr is currently working on rehabilitation on ligament damage sustained during the 4-1 win over Manchester United at Vicarage Road in November, and is not expected back until early next month.
please log in to view this image I do hope that when it is shown that he is not fit to play, the authorities will apologise for stirring up this sort of nonsense.
Then the club - or maybe Dennis - may have to do something to quell the angry Nigerian hordes on Facebook.
If I read this correctly Sarr is going to go to Senegal to have his knee checked out as they don't believe us? What nonsense! Surely better to get an independent opinion in the UK?
My worry is he will stay there and train and play in a knockout match, QF or Semi and get injured and out for the season. Currently he has only been in the gym and physio so not out on grass running or in full physical contact training but Sarr maybe thinks he is being held back and could do more, he is young and wants to play.
Maybe all the NHS experts in the UK capable of giving such opinions are from Nigeria - Senegal's main rivals for the title, and therefore not considered trustworthy by the Senegalese?
