That's what i think, and i've watched it about 20 times.

 

Steve Taylor is a good solid defender, not outstanding, but certainly better than Jones, and a million times better than Cahill. Certainly worth a shot.

He is always prone to an error, but is a very good player. Agree he is not outstanding, but him and Colo have a great understanding. Agree about Cahill - Mr Overrated

The problem is that he's england's best leader, so he's the natural choice for captain. Who else could they pick? (I'm welsh, i don't have the problem, our captain is a 20 year old kid)

So captaincy would go to either Rooney or Cole. Rooney would be perfect if he wasn't such a ****

I like some of your ideas, been really impressed by Sinclair - not sure if Chamberlain is ready yet though tbh. Holt gets stuck in, but the likes of Sturridge, Bent, Welbeck would be my choice. Probably agree about Jagielka like - really like him and Walker is really good, but I prefer Richards - quality, quality, quality imo

Hart, Wilshere, Rooney and Cole are obvious, Richards I think is the best all round RB (Walker suspicious defensively), I'm a bit biased with Taylor, Jagielka very underrated, Hargreaves perfect if they can get him fit and on form, Barton because he'd actually inject some passion and Lampard's 32 and Gerrard's injured loads nowadays. That front 3 looked really good when they used it before as well, Young a great crosser and Bent a great goal poacher.

EDIT: knew I'd forgot someone, Sturridge for Bent maybe?
