FINALLY A BIT OF ****ING LUCK. Bad injuries, but two big games suspended and our next game not for another 2 weeks. By then we should have ASM back and maybe some signings. Thank the lord. Next game is watford and that's a 6 pointer!!!
All depends upon when the games are rearranged to. Possible but not likely but one of the games could be rearranged for the mid week prior to the Watford game. With Wilson still out and Max not back yet one possibly only one signing.
I see Watford are refusing to let Dennis go to the African Cup of Nations. Hopefully we have 2 new signings in by then and ASM back.
Southampton's game against Brentford, postponed on Dec 18th has been rearranged for 11th January. They are trying to get games rescheduled and played as quickly as possible. Unlikely we will be in a much better position when we play them than we are now, though obviously it would be slightly better as we would have 13 fit players for it to go ahead.
All the other clubs fuming because they know this gives us a better chance of staying up and they know that long term they've all got......
Just read the article and Nigeria aren't happy but have excused Dennis from their squad. That means no punishment and he is available for Premier League games during the tournament.
