Totally agree with you. There should be more transparency about the process and consistency. From what you say you do seem to have been stiffed by the PL last season. Doesn’t mean games shouldn’t be called off but should have clear guidelines (which they seem to have) but also transparency (which they don’t seem to have). But then again if they did then how would that help the Greedy Six?
They were free. I actually collected 16 boxes by going to 4 pharmacies and requesting the maximum 4 from each. And people wonder why the NHS is so short of money.

Once they got into a situation where they were allowing games to be cancelled they opened themselves up to clubs taking the piss as I am sure there is no checking on the COVID tests and other injuries are easily faked. They should have either insisted games go on regardless or probably better had a two week break. At the start of that 2 weeks they should have exposed all the players to COVID so at least they had a better chance of not getting it after the break.

Because when you really want to make sure you are suspended for the next match it's always a great idea to wait until the 95th minute of a 90 minute match to pick up a booking!! Not to mention that footballers are renowned for being great at maths and knowing how many fit players are left in the squad, not to mention medical experts to know which injuries picked up during the game would keep players out of the next match!!
