So after our hugely disappointing loss to Leicester we are off to Landaan to play Romans toy team . For a toy team it seems appropriate that their manager is Thomas Tootle who has been talking a lot about our traditional festive fixture pile up with tons of support from the Teutonic tribe of managers .

I confidently predict Mane , Salah , Keita and Timmy will play after that **** knows .

The corresponding fixture last season will hopefully be replicated since it was a 0-2 win

City will likely be 12 points clear, with their two closest rivals playing each other

Yes, they've been allowed a later leave date.

    They leave after this game

Simply have to win. If we don't league is likely out of reach and we should field a strong team for the League Cup.

Not looking forward to this. Chelsea bore me to death, and we weren't exactly great last time out

Chelsea really ought to be on their dying breath now but we are likely to make them look fresh as daisies.

It'll be a tight one. That's for sure.

The odd goal and lost of defending and flopping I expect

City are not getting caught now so it's inconsequential from a title perspective but Sunday is still a massive game for both of us. Neither of us have been good against the better teams in the league this year and I feel the season could completely unravel for whoever loses.

Liverpool have to be faves, the matchups are better and IMO 2 of the 3 best players on the pitch will be Liverpool players.

Oh yeah, totally. Both sides will want to get 3 points and stabilise their positions.

Really neither will want to fall anywhere near the 4th placed battle and will both want to focus on winning things later.

Tuchel has already tried the mad to be saying Chelsea are in a title race thing. For me that is psychology 101.

Klopp has had a go at our lot saying they wont catch city playing like that.

So if Chelsea get a result they can play the positive messages even if a draw while we have all the pressure on us. "Publically"

Of course we all know the expectations at Chelsea are huge and internally such mindgames are not accepted. Chelsea are imo 100% expected to win this league and the pressure is on tuchel massively.

You can't spend £100m on a striker and not be expecting to win it.

I can understand Tuchel and Klopp's frustrations, they have both competed against Guardiola in Germany and they know everything has to go right in order to topple him in a title race - unfortunately for them it hasn't. Klopp has worked miracles at Liverpool given the lack of backing by FSG but it seems a step too much for him to compete with City for the crown this year. That said, I still have you down as faves for the CL.

If City beat Arsenal on NYD then Chelsea and Liverpool need to start preparing for the cups and top 4 consolidation.

Our record against top half clubs in the prem not good at all. We are leaky. Its the final 5% needed.

I cant see us doing more than the cups as honestly theres no backing this january again by the sounds of klopp.

We are in the sf and got a.good fa cup early.draw so hopefully we have a final to look forward to.

Nice jinx attempt! But you're right on a couple of things - City are over the hills and far away now, and that's a problem in that they can comfortably take their foot off the gas and concentrate fully on the CL and FA cup. We, on the other hand, still have to make sure we make Top 4 (not a certainty for both of us) AND have three cup competitions to balance too. Whoever loses is getting closer and closer to 5th place. :emoticon-0107-sweat
