Last two days have been bank holidays so any talks behind the scenes wouldn't have started again until today so I'm afraid it's just a case of waiting that bit longer. It would be nice to think something will be announced before New year's eve but unfortunately it's more patience that's needed. The longer it goes on then with our record its bound to cause doubts but hopefully something will be announced very soon. If not it will be so disappointing but what can you do. There is that much going on all around us at the moment I think we all want some uplifting news.
What was the situation with the £500k grant, was it that it didn’t have to be repaid as long as we’d stuck to the terms until January? If so I’d bet my house on that being the reason that the Allam’s aren’t desperate to push it over the line in December, and to be fair it would make perfect sense.
It's not the Allam's who personally owe the grant it's the Club. So I wouldn't have thought that would have any bearing on the sale. Acun will know about it surely.
