I think we had the quality to stroll to a win yesterday, will need to find another gear or two.

Gonna be a tight, niggly game I reckon. Scrapping to a 2:1 win would suit me just fine

Just thought at 3-0 we played within ourselves. I think we could have upped it but stepped off and protected themselves for the upcoming games. If we can have the same control in the game we can push the attacking urgency more tomorrow if needee. Definitely a tougher game, agree mate, but we have a way of playing right now that gives me a lot of confidence.

I'm definitely confident. I know I said they won at a stroll and will need to step it up a gear or two but another way to look at it is that is what our style of play should look like.

It's more the defence I expect to have a harder day as opposed to wanting the attack to work any harder.

Yep we have a dodgy defence... we kept a clean sheet yesterday, more because Doncaster were poor, rather than we were good.

I expect we are working hard on the training ground, on all the team defending when we do not have the ball. Cirkin or Hume at LB is better than Gooch also.

If we keep a clean sheet tomorrow we will win, cos we will score!

2nd game of the season I'll be missing. Gutted, but hoping for a resounding win and no more injuries

Let's get our win percentage up on these and payback for the last game.

Hartlepool beat them on the 1st of December, lets give them another North East end of month beating.

    Marvellous as always thanks RTB.
For once we’re going to use the opportunity and make a gain - ruthless determination to ease through the game and get that top spot. Let the others worry about and fail to use their games in hand

A cracking final matchday thread to end the the year RTB. Thanks once again.

The fact that Wednesday's last two games have been postponed might mean they are not as match sharp as us and that will give us the edge.

The return to winning ways and the need for revenge should fire our players up and I expect us to go all guns blazing for them in the First Half. A 3-1 win and top of the league would be a great way to start the year and I fully expect us to do it.

I presume we will need to show the results of a negative lateral flow test on a mob or a print out, plus prove of vaccination?

Well just tested positive so going to have to miss this one. It’s a bugger. Probably picked it up at Doncaster. Oh well at least fleetwood is off. Enjoy the game everyone.
