Must be referring to our lefty visitors from other clubs, the followers of the politics of envy.

They’re the only ones complaining - as per usual.

    ‘Twas ever thus.

Do I read your post correctly in that you accuse every 'working class tories' of being Anti Foreigner?
A bit of a sweeping statement don't you think?
Maybe they just thought that Corbyn, MacDonald, Abbott and the others were a bunch of unelectable c*nts?
    Did you consider that?

Thats not how I read Windy's post at all.

My interpretation was that he's stating that working class Tory voters consider Labour's stance on immigration to be too weak and much prefer the so called hard line approach of the Tories. So much so that even when the Tory's have shown themselves to be corrupt & inept this particular issue still trumps everything else as far as those specific Tory voters are concerned.

Oh and also that hostility shown towards foreigners is unnecessary.

Still enjoyed reading your post though and it's always interesting how we can read different meanings into the same words.

If Blair was still at the helm he'd bend over backwards to get those voters onboard by the way.

Sorry bro didn’t get the quote notification with this.

I’ve said enough times I totally get that people didn’t want Corbyn and saw Johnson as the lesser of two evils. If people still think that about Starmer’s Labour, who is a massive shift from Corbyn, after two years of absolute chaos where the government has totally taken the piss out of all of us, then I think all hope is lost for those people. Corbyn and his politics are long gone.

The “they’re all the same” thing is absolute nonsense. Demonstrably false when you see what this government is doing over and over again. It’s just a line trotted out by mugs who need to find a way to justify their vote in their own heads when they know they’re voting for awful, borderline fascist ****s.

You are both generalizing working class Tory voters.
People vote one way or the other for a multitude of reasons. I don't know which party got your vote, I can guess, but I'm sure you had your reasons. Windy has said previously that someone should vote to oust the Tories.
The more outspoken Lefties seem to find it impossible to understand that a person can vote for what is best for them at the time. They can't believe that people don't agree with them and those that don't agree must be Nazis, racists, stupid....
I should be a Labour voter but at the last election Labour were not a party I could vote for. The Tories are inept but Corbyn's cronies would have been much worse.

My original post was apolitical. My point was that our problem is with Politicians in general.

    They're all the same.

I was replying while you replied and your post sums up the problem.
Tories are Fascist, Labour are the good guys.
I hope that one day you'll wake up and realise that politics has changed. Years ago Labour represented the working class. Not now. No matter who is in power the state is run by Civil Servants and they listen to Lobbyists.
There are some decent MPs but the system is ruined.
You're arguing Labour v Tory but accepting that Labour were unelectable.
Someone didn't have to be a racist not to vote for Corbyn.

I’m agreeing with you. Personally I don’t think Corbyn was unelectable relative to the alternative, which has gone on to be a ****ing disaster, but I totally appreciate people preferring Johnson in 2019. My point was that anyone continuing to back this lot after the last two years with there now being a more credible alternative is a complete mug.

This government is moving more and more towards fascism. That’s not anti-Tory. It’s just an observation of their moves to clamp down on legitimate protest, demonise foreigners and suppress rights of voters unlikely to vote for them.

I assume you're highlighting the Crime bill? What the public wanted was freedom to go to work. Not having the roads blocked by retired middle to upper class 'protesters' who had nothing better to do. What got to the Commons was 300 pages long with hubdreds of amendments and tagged on bills. Labour objected to just a few of these and wanted more stuff included.

That is precisely the problem with Politicians. None of them get anything done because they just argue around in circles for ages. The bills that get passed are the ones that the lobbyists want because they have the power to offer incentives and grease palms.
I voted Brexit, not because of immigration - although I do think we are too crowded on this tiny rock as it is - but because we had more freeloading career Politicians in Brussels. The EU is a huge waster of money.
Who is demonizing foreigners? We need their tourism pounds. Illegal immigrants paying criminals to put their lives at risk crossing one of the world's busiest shipping lanes isn't something we should encourage. There is a system in place whereby you should claim asylum innthe first safe country. They don't seem to be doing that.
It's happening all over Europe in case you hadn't noticed so it's not just us.

Well Starmer comes from a pretty ordinary family, excelled at school to get an assisted place at a fee-paying place and had a highly successful legal career. He used some of his earned wealth to buy land for his ill mother to take care of donkeys, though he was vilified for this by our noncier press.

Whereas Johnson after being born with a silver spoon in his mouth and up his arse has been sacked twice for lying, won’t even say how many kids he has and clearly can’t be arsed with the burden of doing the job he’s well remunerated for .

Of course you could have also pointed out that Starmer lied on live TV about his wealth when trying to appeal to poorer voters in the run up to the last election. They are all the same.

I could have if I’d known that. Shame on him though well done for realising the electorate are too ****ing thick to appreciate someone with an ordinary background doing well is a positive over an Etonian alcoholic and mediocre journalist.

I didn't ask you to vilify Johnson and I thought you would have come up with a slightly bigger list after saying they aren't all the same.......Johnson is a chancer I think a lot of people who voted for him probably thought at the time he would be the lesser of two evils, whether they think the same now vs starmer is obviously up for debate.
new parties are needed to break the cycle of the same **** syndrome, because take your red rose off for a minute and see that nothing will change if this monopoly isn't broken....they are ALL the same...now give me number 2 of the honest Joe's
