I think we all agree he was a little reckless. After the first (non) yellow he should have never slid in. He is a young lad. He ****ed up,I swore at him. He gets better, he is our best CB by a country mile
Long and Adam Armstrong ran their socks off. But Fraser was easily my MOTM. Possibly our best point of the season? It's up there with Man City. 99% positive overall. My only criticism was the way the CBs (in particular Salisu and Bednarek) were so desperate to win the ball (possibly a case of taking man-marking to the extreme?). So often in the first half they were being sucked way out of position, and it just looked a bit rash and haphazard. In some ways the red card helped us, because we then fell back into a normal defensive line and looked far more secure.
Or, just keep him wide. Worst case scenario 1-1 and 11 Vs 11. I don't blame him, young lad and hopefully. We experience learnt
No he didn’t . If it was “certain” then he should have let them have the goal and us keep the players It was a quite likely goal but not certain in my view
Just looked at an injury website. Sad I know. Newcastle have 13 players unavailable as of today. Saints have 9. So we both have enough players for Sundays match. Whether we have the right players is another matter.
Downside of the two second half decisions is that all the talk on “neutral” sites is about how spurs were hard done by. Which blissfully ignore how outside of those two decisions the referee was so overwhelmingly on his side it isn’t even funny Salisu’s first yellow simply wasn’t one. And there were multiple instances where an offence that was a foul (and sometime a booking) for someone from Saints was given as nothing for Spurs. Every 50:50 went to them for at least an hour. It was truly breathtaking. And what about playing advantage when one didn’t exist and all the commentators just nodding along? Even the red card incident came from a case where it should have been a saints decision- can’t remember if it was a free kick we should have had or one they got that wasn’t one
Son was already pretty much past him. Hence the foul and the red. In real time the reaction would have been outrage. On even one rewatch sense should have prevailed given he was on a booking
Which 9? 3 with Covid from Boxing Day who should be clear unless their test was on Boxing Day itself. Which I assume it wasn’t Che as a new Covid case Tino and Alex. Two suspensions. Who is the 9th?
Unless he has developed the ability to teleport to the other side of the defender so as to not go across or through him Timing that right would have been one of the best tackles ever
Sir I do not want to start an argument here and you have given the boys praise so fair does. What I di find a little strange is fans like myself go over the top think everyone are world beaters. Do you not think we have turned a bit of a corner, sat 10 points above the relegation zone, that maybe Ralph is doing okay.
Congratulations on an excellent, well earned point to put the hammers back above the spuds. When you went a man down, I thought the spurs win was a formality. Impressive work
