Day 2. Kids still positive, son in law still positive, Mrs no7, daughter & me clear. I am positive we may get something though COYS!!!
One of my favourite periods as a Saints fan with Shearer, Rod Wallace and Le Tiss causing havoc almost exactly 31 years ago to the day...
The friend who goes with me doesn’t do panto....shame as I think most people (even refuseniks) would enjoy it. I went to one years ago and Jack stopped the show to announce that Saints had won
Yep, 1 or 2 goal loss isn't the end of the world. The west ham game has filled the good will cup up some. Anyway, the Newcastle game is more important
I'm with you and St Godders, Tom. I am double jabbed and boosted, in a house with 2 kids with it. Two LFT on the trot (one an hour ago) I am negative, but for the sake of others I am not risking it as I could have it. If everyone thought like me, it would probably be a safe environment, but how many won't take a LFT 'in case' they have it and can't go? One for another thread maybe, but I think Godders is right to be cautious and you are probably right with the not many. I may not have Covid, but I have a sore arse from the fence I am sitting on.
I understand your POV for sure. And the risks vary depending on your circumstances. For me, I've had 3 jabs, I'm only 30 and I've done all of my socialising over the festive period. And I've tested negative this morning so I'm going without any hesitation.
If the grandkids didn't have it I wouldn't think twice about going. Just worried I may be some sort of carrier and shock horror, the jabs are doing their job. Also extra cautious as I go with my 80 year old dad in a car for 40-50 mins each way.
We got a draw at Citeh and 4 points from the Spammers so anything is possible if we play well enough. I'd be delighted with any positive result but we certainly start the game as underdogs. I'll go 2-2 with Broja and JWP hopefully repeating his winning goal from a couple of seasons ago.
Considering you have to show your vaccine status to get in, I’d say not many. The government is a total irrelevance
Just bought a pint from inside the stadium and I nearly got one that one of the staff had already taken a drink from.
Me and my mate are ST holders, we both agreed not to go even x2 vaccinated and boosters. Not worth the risk IMO, especially as his aged wife has health issues and l am considered high risk too. So will watch on Prime.
