    There is a weird obsession with some owners for these so-called statement signings. A big name, with a big transfer name to appease the fans. Re-signing Pogba for £90m after he'd left for free was an absolute disgrace. Signing Ronaldo only to stop him signing for city (City were never going to sign him BTW) was a joke,,,,

    Hopefully these are similar mistake the Saudis will make - big names who don't want to be there

    Reminds me of when I was getting into football in the mid 90s (mid 80s baby) and hearing of how Liverpool used to be good.

    Much as I hate to say it Newcastle deserve the lead, should be 2 up and have harried the **** out of Man U to the point they don’t know what they are doing.
    Only one team in this as a contest at the moment.

    Man U are definitely ****, they look like they can’t be arsed most of the time stood waiting for the ball when Newcastle have been the opposite, looking for the ball and chasing down all the way. The kind of football that gets the crowd behind you.
    Want them to lose but really don’t see a way back for Man U in this game at the moment.
