Tan Kesler is the one you’d expect to be appointed a director and he’s been involved for months, so presumably will have been submitted for the test from the off. It’s quite hard to fail, you need to have been convicted of an offence, or at least be suspected of some dodgy dealings somewhere down the line.
Including DIRECTOR of football...? Sorry OLM you answered ... catching up... got excited when I saw 4 new pages... NOT AS EXCITED AS DEN THOUGH...
Is the fit and proper test limited to just the U.K? I don’t understand the point you are trying to make. Ehab said approvals not approval. Read the rules it is quite clearly not just owners and directors, but relevant people.
You just said maybe he has an involvement in another club, that would have to be in English football, hence me pointing out he’s never been a director of any company here, never mind a football club. It’s not called the Owners & Directors Test for nothing.
The agreement between the Allams and Illicalli for the club has been signed for some time. The hold up is getting the necessary clearances to put his management team in place - which is why he was at the Embassy a couple of weeks ago. If Rodwell is indeed the preferred CEO then his fixed term contract with Peterboro doesnt end until Jan. They ****ed us around at the start of the window - we had a deal agreed then the new manager cancelled it to take a look at him so we went elsewhere - he became available at the end of the window when we'd brought Huddlestone in and Bernard freeing up Jones to cover that position.
You can virtually guarantee that Allam has moved the goalposts regarding money, speculation about KLP moving for potential £7-10m will have set Ehab thinking he can get another few million for the club, and he’s put the price up
It probably just takes a while for the EFL to sort, for foreign owners they have to go back around 5 years, checking sources of where money has come from, anti-money laundering procedures etc, which is made more difficult with non U.K. banks. If they have to check anything regarding Tan Kesler I’d imagine the fact he is a registered agent and owner of an agency they’ll have to make sure it’s fairly tight to avoid any conflicts of interest.
I didn’t say anything of the sort. But read it for yourself. by preventing anyone who is subject to a 'Disqualifying Condition' being involved in or influencing the management or administration of a Club.
I’ve no idea what point you’re trying to make, as far as we know Tan Kesler has never been subject to any ‘disqualifying condition’ and has never been involved in the running of another English club. I know people are desperate for news, but coming up with potential issues based on things that there’s absolutely no evidence of, is a little odd.
Has the exclusivity period ran out for Acun? If so that’s got to be a concern, knowing what type of ****s the Allam’s are with regard to pulling negotiating rabbits out of the hat. There’s time yet for them to **** this up for us.
Quite the opposite actually, but you missed the point ages ago and I can’t be arsed to explain again. The fact is that the deal is waiting for some EFL approvals to be given.
It seems quite logical that the EFL has to sign off any change of ownership when it actually happens, regardless of if the owners and directors have passed the Ownership & Directors test.
