I went to my 1st watford match when I was 4 and have seen in that time the good and the bad from watford, to me that is what makes football so good, I feel a dedication. Which is why i feel sorry for united fans who 90% of them have never been to a match. Of the 5 people I know that support united, 3 have said today that they never really supported united and the other 2 brought up the 'err yeah where are watford debate'. So even tho we sit in the bottom 3 this week end I have to smile at the fact that at least I dont support a club full of glory supporters.

<ok> Wonder how many of them will be calling for the manager's head?

Failure is just so unacceptable these days. :)

I think the instant response for a true united fan would be 19 titles! Real problem is that money spent shamelessly buys the success, then you get the news of the academy shake up and notice that the whole thing stinks!

I expect JJB Sports shops throughout Surrey will be doing a roaring trade in "life-longs" trading in their Red shirts for Light Blue...

I was out with two of my mates yesterday; one (who is quite unique in Manchester United terms) IS from Manchester, lives and works there as well and supports his team, the other from the south coast follows Chelsea - so they were fun comamy in the evening.

The contrast though was quite funny. The Chelsea fan was grumpy but the United lad was quite resigned to the fact that someone was going to give United a thumping sooner rather than later, unhappily it was City, as they had been playing poorly and now they will have had their wake-up call.

I would like Watford to be playing poorly and still be in the top three clubs nationally, but that will never happen.

I remember us being top of the League and having a shocker against Man City, so it has happened. :)

I suspect you're right though - can't see it happening again.:(
