We got there early, and their car park only had about six disabled places available on a first come first served basis. I politely asked the steward where the disabled bays were. He asked where we were from, I replied '****ing disabledland' oddly he pointed the way.
What the point of a thread if you are going to default to PM. If you are ITK share it with like minded people. Are you worried how many pages the thread will run to?
Personally, I think it will go through, you can't blame EFL for making sure everything is in order after the bit of a mess they made with owners for some other clubs who turned out to be not good for the club, game, or image of English/Welsh football. I think if there had been anything untoward then it would have come to light already.
Ehab said they still need to conclude the deal yet, never mind the EFL agreeing it!! If we believe what he said to Mike White, the delay is not the EFL, it's the 2 parties getting the deal finalised .... then the EFL will have something to approve. BTW, very good approach to the interview by Mike White. If they (Allams and Acun) are still arguing the toss over the deal after all this time, then I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it breaks down. However, I expect it will get done in the next few days, just no great surprise if it breaks down.
Is this a private club. Why didn't you just PM him without telling us. My sauces are telling me I need to add a bit more curry powder.
I think that the valuation of greaves and klp has increased considerably. £15 million for the pair would be fair. That leaves just £15 million for the rest of the club. Can't see them two having that and i can't see acun changing his offer. i know its been said that the amount was agreed, but as we already know, that means nothing to the allams.
I aren't, but if I was then i'd go on the side of it still going through ..... but as said, I now wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it falls through in the next couple of weeks.
He did say in the interview that it was now out of his hands, and awaiting the league approval. I know we can't always believe what he says, but for me that is pretty clear. I posted the other day, that it wouldn't be a surprise with KPL's stock rising that they might move the goalposts, but in the interview, I didn't get a negative feeling. Of course, until it's done, we know with the Allam's things can change, but I do get the feeling they have had enough and want it done..
When you sell your house and you're just waiting on the property to settle, you have signed the contracts. If something suddenly happens that makes your land valued more you can't move the goalposts without a significant financial cost.
bad analogy - yes you can. You cancel the deal & start again. House moves can & do collapse all the time
Believe I said you can't do it without financial cost, not that you can't do it. Once the contracts are signed, you are committed to that fee. If you reneg on that it is not easy to do.
