Yep, hadn't posted there so only saw the update to this thread. Lovelocum made me chuckle with his don't care anymore comment. Thats what happens for sure.
He desperately needed that win today and it does feel like a turning point for him and the squad psychologically.
It’s great that we won but a game where we give away the lead twice doesn’t guarantee Ralph’s position.
What about winning a game that almost no one expected us to? By the “logic” applied by those calling for his head for : - drawing matches we, checks notes, weren’t actually expecting to win (albeit did throw away winning positions); and - losing matches that, checks notes (again), we were expected to lose Surely he gets some “credit”. Or does it not work like that? Almost no one expected a win. I think it was Mark Lawrenson and Saintmagic… Most were expecting a defeat - even at half time when we were winning and especially after the first equaliser. And even the optimists were hoping for a draw
Posted this after Brighton game. So we got the four points from three games, and the 20 points by xmas. Ralph in!!
I am rarely wrong when it comes to Saints but I’m also apparently the most negative person on this forum
Comes with the territory. If you were on Saintsweb you would be solidly middle of the pack. Perhaps closer to the “positive” end !
Magic, you're confusing being 'the most negative person' with being honest and realistic. The rest of us (OK, probably not Lincoln) think that Saints will win everything, be top of the Premier League, the Champions League, provide every country with World Cup winners, and cure Covid
What ever your opinion good or bad not everyone will agree/disagree. That’s life!! But on here no matter what it is you are welcome to project it. Saint magic nobody really has a problem with your posting. What a bloody good result lads and lasses. Well done you saints. New you had it in ya somewhere. Coys
