Ref and VAR don’t see it, despite having the same views as us. Would make no difference to the result but would at least be consistent. Boos already from the crowd. I think that means Dean Smith has lost it to be honest. Mountain to climb and not just in this match.
Looks like we have resigned ourselves to being in Championship next season. Even with a change of manager, the team is without any presence on the pitch. In some games we have given as good as we got, but the last match and this have been very poor. Not sure how we turn this round, but the manager should know?
The commentators saying the score line is not a fair reflection on the game. Story of our lives in the Premier League to be honest. But I’m not so sure in this game. We are so ineffective in attack you can see teams feel just so confident playing us - this is our clean sheet day lads. We can’t retain the ball in midfield at all. Decision making once we cross the halfway line is abysmal, we must have the lowest pass completion rate at that level ever. We are sluggish when playing out from the back but don’t have the strength to go long. We are not a threat from set pieces. We press in ones and twos, not as a team. We are basically an attack training match for other teams. We were better under Farke, even when losing fifteen in a row.
Fair question, but without him on the pitch I’d say our chances of scoring are close to 0%, rather than say 5%.
