What does offence have to do with it? Saying Merry Christmas to a Muslim person doesn't offend them, it's just incorrect to do so. Like wishing somebody happy birthday when it isn't their birthday. There seems to be a lot of companies/people/figureheads who assume somebody will be offended, and then use that as a reason to do something, as opposed to simply asking the party in question if it is offensive and THEN taking action. "It'll cause offence" is such a cop out reason to get annoyed, because most other religions really don't give a **** and the minority that do are as bad as people who say other religions should **** off and it should just be Christianity. There was a big hoo hah a while back about some village or town taking down their tree because "it offends", the papers caught wind and the whole "war on Christmas" bollocks began again. Turns out, they couldn't afford the exuberant lighting costs associated with Christmas because their local council had run out of money.
Hernandez looked a lot better the second time around in the PL, but he wasn't a massive goalscorer in Italy anyway. Jelavic was the better striker for me, and the partnership with Long was brilliant.
Heard that said a few times this year, my daughter and grandkids are living over there. Feliz Navidad everyone….and a Feliz año nuevo…. A happy new year!!!!!
Thought plenty (including Baz) had suggested the EFL would be a formality? Or is it more because they're all off on holiday? Surely Kesler wouldn't fly over just to try to sort out things with the EFL?
The big announcement will happen before the Blackpool game if not the Everton game or maybe the Stoke game or it could be..
My partner’s Polish and I celebrated my first Wigilia. They don’t eat meat on Christmas Eve but they have lots of fish.
I've had my Muslim friends buy me a beer on many occasions. It really doesn't bother them. What is difficult to do is actually pay for something they treat you as a guest all the time. As I've said I loved my time out there and would go back in the blink of an eye.
